Cute hotel, but a lot to be desired for the location and price.
Fail: I always wipe down surfaces upon arrival, check bedding, etc - the kitchen countertop was dirty, the placemats and TV remotes oily/dusty, and the bed quilts had various unsightly stains (eww).
Win: The staff was great!! One quilt was replaced (the other bed wasn’t being used, but both quilts were removed for cleaning).
Fail: As a beach resort, it was disappointing no beach / pool towels were provided (if people nip them, charge the room, or simply check the towels in/out).
Win: Some small beach chairs available.
Fail: zero room amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion). While I dislike the waste created by these (and always appreciate protecting the environment), these small items are standard conveniences (sometimes necessities) at even the most basic hotels, so at this price point they could at least offer them on request (at no charge). Even better, while promoting local vendors!
