We just stayed here overnight to join in the Williams 4th of July festivities but so glad we did. This hotel was incredible. You can really see and feel the history in these buildings and I can’t wait to return after additional renovations. It was a beautifully restored hotel from 1891. The breakfast in the ballroom was the usual motel breakfast buffet spread, but the room was lovely. We spent some time relaxing in both the lobby and the library while we chatted with the owner and fellow guests. Lovely atmosphere. We will definitely book again.

We love to stay in historic hotels, this one was a great example of owners who are working to update the property, while keeping the historic value intact. The room we stayed in was very large, decorated mostly with period furniture, but also had a large, jetted tub in the bathroom. The imperfections of historic hotels are what makes them perfect in our opinion. We will definitely return for another stay and look forward to seeing how the renovations are going. Check in was easy, the staff we met were awesome. The location is perfect, in the center of town. We highly recommend.

Beautifully designed hotel - the attention to detail was evident. We loved the friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful decor, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was perfect as it opened early and included quality options (boiled eggs, high protein yogurt, etc.) - great for heading out for hiking. They offer haunted hotel tours for those so inclined.

Our stay was unique, not only extra clean but extra spoiled by staff checking if would need any extras. We were in awe of the detailed by owners of maintenance of an old Historic Hotel, we appreciate their hard work they have gond through to offer such an experience in a Historic town! Congratulations to the owners and staff, you offered us the opportunity to stay safe and clean in a Historic site in downtown Williams right on the main old street. We won’t hesitate to stay with you again if we sleep in Williams AZ again!

We had an awesome time staying at the historic GC hotel. We roomed in the carriage house and it was decorated nicely. The staff (Deb and Jen) is top notch! We were within walking distance of the train depot and upon our return from the Grand Canyon I was delighted to find a birthday card on my night stand signed by the staff. I can’t say enough about the quality and value. No need to drive here. Highly recommend this place.
