Traveller beware.

This room was listed at market price for the area. Meanwhile ths pillows and pillow covers were old and yellow I put a shirt over the pillows to sleep as they were too disgusting. The sheets were discolored as well...original colour was white. Not sure if the linnen were washed between uses. Someone's else's hair on pillows other than mine. Audio visual equipment in room not operational. Bathroom cramped and dust and dirt accumulated on side of ledges. Walls in bathroom dirty. Is bathroom sanitized between customers ??? Towels in bathroom worn. The owners of this business are not investing a dime in the rooms that badly need refreshing. The pillows are disgusting. Bring your own pillow. Not worth the price.

Loved staying here. It was the perfect area close to new liskeard, they allowed my friend and I to fish off the dock and it was so nice inside the room. Up to date decor and the staff was so friendly when we checked in and it was also an easy checkout. Perfect little place for our stay and we enjoyed it very much

The property was tired, no attempts at 'Pride of Ownership'. Was very low quality basic. But, the price was representatve of all I said. It was quiet, on the edge of a lake but no effort to enhance that benefit. Office staff was perfunctory, no effort to engage or discuss my stay experience.

There was nothing to like. I only stayed because I stupidly paid ahead. The place was very dirty, boat docking was non existant , mould in fridge, fridge didnt cool it froze, property/common areas were filthy, lady at desk understood zero english and just kept saying "yes". She said she would refund my last nights stay as I left a day early but did not. Worst place I have ever stayed at.

The place needs a reno . The ac was so cold i whent to sleep in my car . The thermostat is not in the room so the owner controls the air to all the rooms. Not worth the stay .

Room was not clean mirror was filthy sink leaked. My son had to get out his drill to put hinges back on bathroom door .. garbage all over beside office for hrs and hrs and no one came.out to clean it. Dock its falling apart.grass needs to be cut and gazebo needs to be repalced .. it looks very very run down ..i have been there yrs ago and it never looked like this when the other owners had it. U really need to do some cleaning up it looks bad for the town. Take some.pride in what u own.. the baseboards the walls mat on bathroom floor sitting against wall was gross.half a roll of toilet paper then had to go.ask for more. 134.00 a night was not worth it .. i really wanted to ask for a discount.i was very disappointed .

Nous avions déjà payé parce que réservé sur internet, mais c’était impossible que nous dormions là. C’était tellement dégueulasse nous avons pris des photos, malheureusement impossible de les joindre mais c’était horrible. Draps sales , taches, bain percé par la rouille, saleté partout. nous avons remis les clés immédiatement et le réceptionniste n’a pas suggéré de remboursement ou d’excuses. Nous sommes partis et avons pris un motel leisure inn à Haileyburry qui était parfait.

It’s a motel next to a lake with the focus on the road weary traveller. One plug for a faux electric fireplace, TV and fan. It was chilly last night but I couldn’t figure out how to fire up the fireplace? I felt safe though and though the place is dated 1960 something it was clean and I slept well.

Quite comfortable in the tidy room. The only comment I have is: When I went to office to complain the slow flow of hot water, they said that they were doing the laundry, causing the slow flow of hot water. Wanted us to wait for 30 to 45 minutes. However, even after an hour, the situation did not change much: It had hot water coming out, but stopped not for long!
