Loved the location and the room was amazing just wish we had gotten a room that didn’t face the inner wall of staircase and could have gotten a room the looked out to view of pool area/ ocean. Bathroom was very clean and so was room. Wish it was more affordable because then we would go back again and again.

We have stayed at a few properties in Cape May and this one is by far our favorite. Easy check in, friendly staff, convenient restaurant and close to shopping. The room was also beautiful and clean. Can’t wait to come back!

It was slow as we visited in October. But the stay was great, great location and great view of the ocean. The pool is heated! Wish we would have known that prior to arriving to come prepared with swim wear. We plan to return on the future and would recommend this place for sure!

Great place close to everything

Service was amazing. They text you the day of your reservation and offer free beach tags and beach service (chairs, umbrella setup, etc) before check -in. Our room was also ready a little before check -in. Room was clean and spacious. Doors were a bit sticky but I think this is common in beach homes/hotels. Pool was clean. Grounds were beautifully kept. I would easily stay again.

The place is clean and the renovations are very nice. The parking needs some improvement. I get the idea of valet but hard to find a worker. Also… very disappointed as i reserved a patio room. When i got there i had been moved to second floor. They told me there was a maintenance issue… however there was someone in all the rooms. My daughter and i were looking forward to game night on the patio. I’ve never had this happen in all my years of staying here and Congress hall so a call ahead would have been appreciated if you over booked those rooms

The room was clean and the staff was couteous and professional. We arrived very early and checked in but room was not quite ready but was notified immediately by text when it was. It was a busy weekend but still managed parking right in the front. Had late night appetizers and drinks at the Rusty Nail. Great weekend all around.

Many rooms with hard floors

This was a 3 night stay for us. I booked a room with 2 queen beds and sofa bed. When we arrived we were given a lower room in the corner under the steps and next to a loud speaker that plays music starting at 8 am. It was very dark in the room with a gray hard floor and no carpet like in the pictures. We asked to change our room and there was only a smaller room available. We were told they would hold the other room for us that would open up the next day. Yet the staff was unsure we could fit a needed air mattress inside. We stayed packed not knowing our fate. We have a family member with severe OCD and if we couldn’t switch rooms we would need to get him home. The switch was made the next day and staff gave us a beautiful room with carpet that faced the ocean. The staff we encountered did not offer us solutions to our issue. I suggested the solutions. It is clear they were trained to make guests happy such as offering free breakfasts instead of getting a new room and putting in the air mattress to make it work. We will not pick this property again. We prefer congress hall.

The amenities are great especially the heated pool. Cleaning crew were excellent and texted for our needs. Beach access and amenities are excellent. The staff at the desk need a little bit more personality in welcoming. They checked us in without telling us that the room was not ready and never texted that it was. Parking is very scarce.

We loved this location in Cape May. Far enough from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to everything! The beach is right across the street, restaurant with bar on site, and pool with full bar. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming! We sat outside our room overlooking the restaurant while we listened to live music and enjoyed a drink. It was the perfect vacation! My only complaints were the mattress was harder than I prefer and the pool only stayed open until 8. But, it was great for families!

There were 3 flies in our room and we found it weird became the room smelled and looked clean. When we opened up the sofa bed at night moldy piece of salami fell out. It was late and the office staff was gone already so we couldn’t tell anyone. It was pretty gross.
