We checked in, the clerk wasn't friendly but she wasn't rude either...I asked about the parking and she said since we have a placard it would be free to park where the meters are otherwise it's still $40 to park in the lot behind the hotel, but there was no rush to move the car. Well, the was misinformation: we went to the room to drop off out bags and freshen up before heading to get lunch and when we walked outside to check the metered parking area, there was a $60 ticket on my window from the parking attendant. I had to explain to her what we had been told and the attendant asked for our parking slip from the hotel, I explained again that we didn't get one because we have the placard and could park on the street when a metered spot opened up. She finally took the ticket back but I had to move the car right then.
When we got back to the hotel, we saw a clerk giving someone bottled water so we assumed it was already in our room since it hadn't been given earlier when we checked in. Well, no that was not the case. We went back to lobby, got the bottles of water and were told they had filling stations on the 1st, 3rd & 5th floors. We left for our event and returned around midnight. The hotel was very quiet which was awesome. the next morning around 8 we went to the lobby to use the wifi because the room's wifi was extremely spotty. When I asked the same clerk who checked us in where the water station was on the 1st floor, she said "there's not one down here", more misinfo!
