Place was clean but very expensive going thru hotels.com for the value. Bare bones - didn’t clean my room in between nights, no hair dryer, used just a kcup for coffee and 2nd day it was empty I had to call and wait for them to stock it, parking lot was tiny although extra space in the back. Seems recently renovated but certainly the pics are nicer than reality. Motel style. For me I wouldn’t stay again but I’m used to Marriott’s and hiltons so to me it was way too downscale for the price.

The place is a little run down, and even though the hotel is non-smoking, the years of smoke from the previous 60 years still came through the paint. I didn’t know it was so close to the railroad tracks and that was pretty loud, along with the 20-30 exotic birds squawking outside my room in a large cage. I liked the location and was able to walk to some restaurants, as well as a Walgreens. Thanks to previous guests who had signed into their Hulu and Peacock accounts I was able to watch shows, so that was a bonus. I appreciated the large fridge. Pillows were not great, and the towels were kinda hard, if that makes sense. The other guests were a mixed bag. There was one odd guy who kept lurking about and kept his sneakers and a single cigarette outside his door. He was creepy. That said, I didn’t feel unsafe and no one bothered my car that I parked in the alley. I don’t think I’d stay there again, but it served a purpose and I needed to be in that particular location for a few days, so it worked.

Well….tv was VERY limited, neighborhood was awful. Amenities were scarce, however the room was clean and newly upgraded. Probably the only positive. The price of the room was crazy high. The photos don’t tell you the story on line. No problems, it is what it was

Check in time started at 3. Along with a few others checking in, we arrived at 230. No one in office/door locked. Had to call another number to find out front desk person was at another property and would be there in 10 mins. Website indicated lobby is open from 9 am to 1 am. Very irritating after a long day of travel. Next morning we had no hot water to our room. Found a guy that looked like he may work for the motel and told him of our water issue. He came in and checked things out and found out the breaker was turned off to our room. Had to wait a long while for water to heat up Very inconvenient but was rectified. Then discovered our microwave was not working and from what we could figure out was the plug from microwave didn’t reach the strip plug that looked like it was attached to cabinet next to microwave. As guests, I do not believe it is up to us to figure out the extension cords in a room. No one was at front desk either time we needed their assistance. When I was able to speak to the front desk I explained my dissatisfaction and got a lot of attitude back and was told she manages 2 properties etc. Kept asking what is it that I’d like her to do, etc. with a lot of attitude Just told her I’d like microwave taken care of and hot water. This person needs some hospitality training. Only other issue is the Brightline runs extremely close to motel, as well as a freight train, at all hours. Room itself was very clean.

This place was a hidden gem. Owner Michelle was the nicest person to deal with. The rooms were immaculate. The outside patio with the birds was so relaxing. 10 out of 10 rating.

The room was clean, bed comfortable and decor unique! The grounds of this delightful hotel provided a very lovely, relaxing atmosphere. There were 'tropical" plants flowering all over.....and the colored lights at night added a bit of 'majic" every evening. The outdoor coffee area also a very relaxing retreat........with the tropical birds an added treat. This establishment was always quiet, no hustle and bustle, no typical chain hotel noise. I loved my 3 day stay there. Thank you.
