Hotels.com lied about this hotel. It was not elegant, it had no beach, and was a BIG disappointment. Thankfully, she is not a large or a heavy person and she was able to correct herself before she went backwards into the wall. Her room was being made up when we arrived, when it was finally ready, no one had turned on the air conditioning or plugged in the refrigerator. She had to move the desk herself to plug in the refrigerator. Lucky she’s in good shape and was able to do so. After all of these incidents, I went to get us 2 Apperol spritz. Benjamin, the Bartender had said they were gratis, however, they showed up on my bill check out. The following morning I got up, took a shower and found lots of ants all over floor heading up the desk and into bathroom. The front desk told me it would require an hour or two before they could change my room. We left,10 minutes later, the hotel called and required me to come and move my luggage into the new room so that they could clean my room. No compensation was offered. This hotel is a rotter
