Our experience at Amainah was spectacular! The property is beautiful and clean. The view from our room just breath taking, from sunrise to sunset, with views of gleaming Moon. Everyone in their staff is courteous and truly want to make your stay unforgettable. We had very nice conversations with several of them, giving you recommendations what to see & where to eat around town. Speaking of food, we ate several times at their deck, enjoying drinks and the most beautiful view of the Lagoon, we tried different dishes and all were very good. Pulpo a las Brasas, one of the best I have eaten. If you are traveling to Bacalar, this Hotel should be on top of your list... Altamente Recomendado, gracias Amainah!

The staff was super courteous. Everything seemed clean for the most part. The personal pool wasn't clean. It had a bunch of little bugs floating that you could only see at night. However, I feel it's only right to say I'm missing a $100 bill from my bag. Also, i had to look closely at my bills before paying them. Twice i was being overcharged and had it corrected. They hold the cc machine so you can pay, but not see the invoice, while telling you the price. Beautiful views and awesome lagoon!!
