Great experience

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff. Only slight hesitation was during a Twins game we had trouble parking in the hotel's lot as it serves as a lot for anyone paying. We would have had to pay for parking somewhere else if we didn't squeeze into a corner not usually allowed for parking. This affected only 1 night for us, and otherwise was a great stay. Would stay again (while the Twins or Vikings play out of town).

Key did not work after return from afternoon outing. Stayed two nights. Room was not serviced after first night. Was able to get front desk to bring towels and coffee. Restaruant is a joke.

Clean hotel walking distance to the ballpark

Enjoyed are stay. We were in town for the twins game and the walk to the stadium was only 5 min. The room was spacious and lota of counter space in the bathroom. The hotel was updated and very clean.

Downtown

You could hear people in the other rooms. Police called for a problem in the parking lot. Hard time finding place to eat. Restaurant in hotel was closed.

Walking Distance of Target Field

Great hotel but location was a bit undesirable. We booked this hotel for the proximity to Target Field. The hotel seems to be on the edge of the nicer area but the far end of the parking lot appeared to be a hangout for their homeless population. We wouldn’t have felt too safe walking to/from the stadium via 10th at night. There was a van “for sale” in the parking lot with a for sale sign but all four tires were deflated with tall weeds growing around it. The hotel is also directly across from the Hawthorn Parking Ramp. There is loud classical music that plays from the ramp that is meant to deter loitering/vandalism etc but we could hear this from our hotel room all night. We stayed in a king room which clean and comfortable. The couch was a nice addition for alternative seating. The shower was nice with decent water pressure. Our room was directly off the elevator and across from the ice machine so this brought additional noise. The hotel was not fully booked so it would be great if these rooms were not used. Other than that noise, we did not hear any of our neighbors with the exception of an occasional slamming door. (The doors are extremely heavy and nearly impossible to avoid them slamming) Overall we had a decent stay and the price was reasonable We’d likely consider staying here again if attending an event at Target Field.

On the day I arrived there were trash bags on my floor immediately visible when I got off the elevator. I requested cleaning services on 1 of the days and the staff cleaned the room very poorly and only made the bed for 1 of the 2 beds used in the room. On another day I asked the cleaning staff for towels only instead of a cleaning. They reluctantly provided me extra towels.

Service was amazing, Parking was fairly easy to manage once you figured out the entrance. The room was clean and so was the check in area, a few hallways were just not vacuumed and I could have caught it in between. Overall was a great stay, the staff was the very best part.
