We booked this hotel based on the reviews. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. First of all the front desk receptionist needs customer service training. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing so I called from our room to get it fixed. While he was on the phone with me, he was also helping another guest check in. He got annoyed that I asked him 3-4 questions regarding the issue, and said that he had a guest in front of him that he needed to help. We felt the other guest was more important than our issue. Finally the issue with the toilet got resolved, but as we hadn’t been to our room for a couple of hours, I stopped by at the front desk to ask if it was fixed. That same employee called someone and they said it had been resolved. He then said on the phone, while we were standing in front of him ‘the guests came here at the front desk to ask me without even checking in their room first.” So he was talking about us to another employee while we were standing right in front of him.
We also had an issue with the heat not working, and the same employee first said someone would be there at 11am to fix it. Then it changed to 1pm, then 2pm, then 3pm. Finally it was fixed at 5pm.
This employee should not be working there. He said he was part time, but that’s no excuse.
The breakfast ladies were very professional even though you could tell they were stressed out running back and forth as it was a very busy morning and the food kept running out.
Housekeeping ladies were also great.
