A must-go castle hotel

A must go midway place if you travel from Londonderry to Dublin (or vice versa). Reasonable price & good food in the bar & restaurant. If you drive there, your car can be parked next to your room, extremely convenient.

Jos haluaa yöpyä linnassa, niin Cabra on siihen loistava mahdollisuus. Linnalla on kokoa ja sisustus huokuu historiaa (tosin ei linnan omaa, mutta aikakautta). Modernit lisäosat, arabialaista ajanjaksoa lukuunottamatta, sopivat joukkoon. Pääportaikko vakuuttava. Huoneet isoja ja kauniisti sisustettuja. Kylpyhuone viihtyisä. Syyskuussa hieman koleaa, sillä keskuslämmitys päällä vain tiettynä aikana. Aamiainen loistava. Illallista voi myös suositella. Ystävällinen palvelu.

Lovely stay for family wedding.

Beautiful . Can't fault Cabra castle in any way. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Also the cleanliness was top notch. The beds were so comfortable (had two nights in the castle room and one in the lodge) I've never slept so well in a long time. Would definitely recommend, especially when they have the spa and wellness facilities. The food was absolutely delicious (wedding party) even distributing chicken and chips in cones later in the evening . The Irish breakfasts ensured i got up and raced to the dining area in the morning (something i never do anywhere else) Wish i was still there!

Amazing place.

The hotel certainly has the wow factor, from arriving to check out the service and friendly staff are amazing. The room was comfy and beautifully furnished, and the dinner in the restaurant excellent. Top marks, the only drawback was we only stayed one night .

Excellent grounds a good at the restaurant and bar. Also excellent adult beverages! It was warm and no air conditioning, that was the only part that was not super.

Did not expect to stay in a fairly modern room several hundred meters from the castle, but it was clean and quiet. The breakfast was to die for and the setting inside the castle was exquisite. Loved our stay!

We had the most amazing stay at the castle. We have never experienced anything as wonderful as this property. The staff went above and beyond to make sure you had the best possible experience. They were very open to engage in conversation and available for assistance. The property was the most beautiful property we have ever seen. The staff was excellent the food was superb. We are hoping one day we will return and stay longer. Thank you.
