We’ve stayed here quite often over the years because it’s very conveniently located with a good price point. However, it could use some upgrades now. Like the furniture and carpets. It looks well used and the bathroom could use a thorough cleaning. Our main complaint is the noise. We understand that many teams with teenagers would choose to stay here because of the proximity to the arena, but there really should be a better noise policy. The running up and down in the hallways and stairwells, and shouting at night is the most annoying. Regular paying customers should not have to put up with this rude behaviour.

Late Mothers Day visiting with my son. Check in was easy. Room was in need of minor repairs. The bed was SO uncomfortable and hard as a rock. Didn’t get much sleep. Blackout curtains were not attached at the top so the streetlights and sun made the room very bright. They did not fully close. Tried messaging to have it fixed but no one ever came.

Ten urars ago this hotel was beautiful. Problem today is that noyhing has bern updated, from paint to bathroom fixturs. The A/C did not work well in our room. There was mold in the fridge and 2 other fridges from the tooms they switched us to. We were tired and not going to play musical rooms all night. The new owner of this hotel seriously needs to put some money into it. The shower parts were literally hanging out in the tub because years of silicone is no longer holding it together. The ancient carpets are badly stained a have a bad odor. The beds were not too bad but not great. The breakfast was very good. Not the best Super 8, thats for sure.

In town on business. Check in was fast, but the room was gross. Ashes on the bed, burns in the rug. The bed was uncomfortable the furniture was damaged.

Our stay at this Super 8 was ok. Room was dated. Bathroom was dated and floors could bave been cleaner. Breakfast was good. Strong smell of weed when entering the hotel around 8:30pm yesterday. I lived in this Hotel for a few months in 2015, after a house fire. It was beautiful then but nothing has changed in 10yrs and it shows. Very tired looking. Great location in South Barrie with many amenities such as shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Also very easy access to hwy 400.
