Disappointing.

Hampton are always to go to hotel for consistency. They usually have the best beds, the best breakfast and the nicest people. However, this Hampton is not. Just was not like the other Hamptons. Staff was not very friendly seemed to always be chitchatting. The bed wasn’t as comfortable and the breakfast was terrible. It was very disappointing. We may have to find another go to hotel.

Trailer parking a pain, beware. Rooms in bad shape

We arrived at the Hyatt and noticed our credit card was charged before we even checked in. When we inquired about this at the front desk, we learned that it was a new policy. To add to our frustrations, my parents were placed on a separate floor from us.Upon checking in, I spotted a sign indicating that trailer parking was prohibited. I asked about parking options, and they suggested that we check with the church next door for permission. Unfortunately, no one was at the church, and the phone went unanswered, so we ended up having to unhook both trailers.When we finally reached our room, we encountered several issues: the barn-style bathroom door was damaged and wouldn't close properly, the toilet appeared to have been used, there was no toilet paper, and the sink was dirty. We called for maintenance and were put on hold for an extended period. When the maintenance worker finally arrived, he smelled of marijuana and confirming that they had been working on the room. This prompted us to move to a different room. The same maintenance worker verified the new room beforehand, claiming he checked the TV to ensure it worked and powered it on. However, once we settled in, we found that there was no remote to turn off the TV, and there was no button on the television itself. Our attempts to contact the front desk via the room phone, but the phone did not work. We tried text messaging received no response. We even tried calling the main number, but no one answered. No more room to typ

The hotel looked very old and dated. Carpet was gross. Bathroom was dirty. Shower had stuff on the floor and black hair. WiFi didn’t work for a few hours. Musty smell. No shampoo. Overall very dated

Just Not Good. More Motel 6 Than a Hilton.

No cold water, sink or shower. Shower was scalding hot. Door cards did not work the entire stay. Run down. Do not recommend.

sneaky about addition al fees

first time traveling with a pet and chose this hotel because it said pet friendly but could not call the hotel the phone was out of order and looked all over their site (not the travel agency site) and could not find anything to inquire about the pet - when we got there we were told an addition $75 was required for our pet and said they couldnt help what hotel.com didnt do. I think that much should be loud and clear when getting a room - wont ever choose hamtpon again or hotel.com

sticky floor and shower head mounted too high

The shower head is installed totally too high, and I could not reach it to use the hand-held shower. Also the bathroom floor was sticky, and shower curtain was useless as it was over a foot off the floor making the water from the shower go everywhere, we used our drying towels to dry the floor so we would not slip.

No one likes a cold shower!

Location was very good, staff was friendly, breakfast offered a variety of things to eat. My only complaint is the shower water was lukewarm. I could not get hot water either time I showered. This was big! I would hesitate to recommend the hotel because of the lack of hot water!
