The service here was really friendly and the evening staff helped us find a good place to eat, called a cab for us and did several other things. Very happy with them for the most part.
There were some issues with communication, however. One staff member asked us if we wanted a turndown service and I said yes. We didn’t get one. When I asked another staff member why I didn’t get it, she told me they don’t do turndown service anymore. I was confused because it was offered and advertised in print materials. It left me feeling confused.
Also, we were told to park in a certain place that blocked in another. I asked about the blocking in and they said it was fine. The next day I get a call asking for my key so they can let another guest out. They come to my room to get my keys, but then I had to go to the desk to get my keys back. I was informed then that I had to leave my keys at the desk when parked where I was. I had already been there overnight. What would they have done if I was out???
A third issue was that in their web form they had an area to order champagne and chocolates to be in the room, but when I arrived it wasn’t there. Then there kept being confusion when it would be there between staff members. We finally got it the last night of our stay.
All in all the communication issues weren’t upsetting, but showed that communication isn’t as good as it could be.
