Would recommend but beware the quiet poolside

We stayed as 3 friends in our 20s/30s. The room was a great size for 3 adults. Everything was very clean, service was prompt, reception staff were very helpful. The pool area was very nice, LOTS of beds for everyone, and access not allowed to the pool until 9ish, so nobody is allowed to go claim beds, which is great. BUT the pool area is deathly quiet. No music or atmosphere whatsoever- which may be to some peoples taste- a heads up to anyone who it isnt for. Thankfully we had brought a small speaker and could find a corner to play our own music quietly. Would recommend that the pool bar plays music to inject some liveliness to the place. Aqua aerobics instructors lacked any sort of enthusiasm or energy, but nice to have some activities to do. Spa was so nice, worth doing the water experience. Buffet breakfast was great, lots of choice. Same for dinner, it changed cuisine every night. Would stay again.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and facilities very good in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Very good nightly live entertainment added good vibes, bringing the guests together. As vegans despite advance notice and again on arrival we had to ask at every breakfast for soya yoghurts as these are not put out as choice for all residents who may prefer non dairy and again ask at every evening meal what was suitable to eat that did not contain animal products as they only had a vegetarian buffet stand however the choice was good and chefs Carlos and Juan Pablo were exceptionally helpful and after showing us round the buffet also cooked special meals for us to suit our requirements which tasted delicious. A very special thank you to these guys for being so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The spa and massage experience was amazing and a must if staying here, thank you Lisa for your beautiful welcoming smiles this just made the stay even better. Overall a lovely stay but communication needed to meet your specific needs such as double bed, sunny balcony and food specifics.

Check in experience was not good - we didn't receive a warm welcome. There was a safe in the bedroom but we had to pay extra to use it which we refused to do as this was not pointed out at booking or upon check in. We didn't make use of the tennis court as once again - we were told that this was an additional cost also! There was a generator outside our bedroom which made a constant noise - impacting our sleep! Overall, not a great hotel experience - we won't be rushing back!

Beautiful hotel, well located with amazing staff

Hotel was beautiful and room spacious and comfortable. There are many activities and the pool area is also amazing. Breakfast is delicious and location is super handy within walking distance from the beach and main street with loads of shops and restaurants. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Para la experiencia

El bufet es muy pobre y hasta la comida caliente esta frio. El personal mitad amable y mitad ni te devulven el saludo. Y la locacion dentro de todo buena. La habitación fue lo mejor del hotel aunque el aire acondicionado no enfría nada, hacia mas frio afuera que en la habitacion y decir “frio” no es lo adecuado porque un calor. Ah y dice que hay aparcamiento pero no tienen y aparcar por ahi es un CAOS.

La fórmula Adults Only son menos ruidosos

En primer lugar destacar la excelencia del personal tanto en recepción como en el buffet y camareras piso. El único problema destacable ha sido que la habitación no poseía cortinas opacas del todo eran bastante translúcidas con lo cual pues no pude descansar correctamente en un principio aunque gracias al personal de habitaciones , en concreto a la subgovernanta, pusieron otra cortina extra y pude descansar. El problema en estos hoteles de Barcelo que son macro hoteles es quizá el ruido entre habitaciones. En el caso de este Barceló de Corralejo siendo hotel solo para adultos había mucho público senior con lo cual es bastante más cívico que en otro tipo de hoteles de carácter más familiar y masivo. Lo que tiene bueno la cadena Barceló es el colchón que utilizan que es de tipo viscoelástico.

Fuerteventura stay

This is not a beach hotel and beach is not 30 meters away. Beach is at least 150 meters away and is not manned by the hotel. Gym is small, swimming pools are ok size and one of them was heated. It is not clear why indoor pool and saunas were chargeable. Food was great and sufficient.

Hotel is great, but cannot be called a beach hotel as it is more than 100 meters away from the beach and that beach is jot maintained by the hotel team. Food was good with several choices every lunch and dinner, however Internet is not working at all, not in the lobby, not in the rooms, restaurant or pool area, simply nowhere!0
