Downtown Palm Springs
Downtown Palm Springs buzzes with creative energy where art galleries, mid-century modern architecture, and palm-lined streets meet. Catch a show at the Plaza Theatre or explore treasures at the Palm Springs Art Museum. The iconic Palm Canyon Drive comes alive with sidewalk cafés and upscale shops, while Agua Caliente Cultural Museum offers a glimpse into Native heritage. Dining ranges from farm-to-table restaurants to craft cocktail lounges with desert views. Luxury resorts and boutique hotels provide stylish places to crash after exploring. The neighborhood's walkable streets make getting around easy, though SunBus service connects major attractions when the desert heat cranks up.

Uptown Design District
Palm Springs' Uptown Design District flaunts mid-century modern showrooms and art galleries along palm-lined streets. Browse vintage ceramics and iconic furniture pieces while soaking in the striking architecture and mountain views. This creative hub hosts festivals and live music events that capture the artistic spirit of Palm Springs. Dining options range from upscale restaurants to trendy cafes with craft cocktails flowing into the evening hours. Boutique hotels and luxury rentals with pools dominate the accommodation scene. The district is highly walkable with easy street parking, though a rental car is handy for exploring beyond this design lover's paradise.

Warm Sands
Warm Sands serves up the quintessential Palm Springs getaway with luxury resorts and mid-century modern vacation rentals. Private pools dot this upscale neighborhood where the mountain views are spectacular and the vibe is exclusively relaxing. Nearby, you can explore the Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center or take a short drive to Tahquitz Canyon. The neighborhood offers resort dining with California cuisine and desert influences. Most visitors rent cars for easy access to downtown attractions, though the quiet residential streets are perfect for morning strolls. Luxury accommodations with concierge service and private pools create that iconic desert retreat experience.

The Movie Colony neighborhood showcases architectural masterpieces from the golden era, with stunning mid-century modern estates that once belonged to Frank Sinatra and Cary Grant. Quiet palm-lined streets invite evening strolls with dramatic mountain backdrops and desert breezes. The neighborhood remains purely residential, so you'll need to venture downtown for restaurants and shopping. Most vacation rentals feature private pools and designer furnishings, perfect for travelers seeking luxury with a side of Hollywood history. A quick five-minute drive connects you to Palm Springs' vibrant downtown scene whenever you're ready to explore.

Courtyard By Marriott Palm Springs
"Great experience in general."
Best Western Plus Las Brisas Hotel
"Several of us ladies meet in Palm Springs a few times a year for a girl's trip. This hotel has been a good in between spot for us as we are all coming from different directions. 2 of the ladies from different areas in California and 1 from Arizona. We were a little puzzled about the parking issues on this last trip. Previous trips there weren't any issues with parking. We had 2 rooms reserved and were told we could only park 1 car per room, as the hotel was completely booked and were told to park a car across the street in the parking garage (which we did). So now we're curious because at this time the parking area was not even half full so we decided to keep an eye on it. Never once in the 2 days we were there was the parking lot even close to being full. Don't understand the parking issue."
Palm Mountain Resort and Spa

Caliente Tropics Hotel
"Great location, very peaceful, nice staff, nice restaurant, and nice pool."
Motel 6 Palm Springs, CA - Downtown
"Staff was very helpful floors could be moped but a very nice room"
Thompson Palm Springs, by Hyatt
"The staff was incredible, especially everyone at the front desk. They were so welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay! The only small thing I would mention is the pool service could be a little more attentive. There were only a few guests by the pool, and it would have been nice to be checked on a little more often to see if we wanted to order anything or needed anything. Nothing major at all, just a small detail that could make the experience even better! Other than that, everything was honestly 1,000/10! The amenities were beautiful and so thoughtfully done, the lounge was gorgeous, and I loved all the decor and little details throughout the hotel. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and I will definitely be coming back! 😊"
