It was a bit of a faff but one we’d figure it it smoothed out. We managed to check in with our QR code and the room was huge but the best view of the lake! It was very warm in the room and comfortable but the sofa bed was awful! We booked a 4 person room so we could get the view and that did not let us down!!!

Room was very clean. Hotel interior was very impressive a beautiful marble staircase. The reason I scored a little low was was the exterior of the hotel definitely need some maintenance. It is really showing its age. I couldn't really comment positively on the staff because there wasn't any. This is due to this being a unique hotel and having an electronic booking system where there is no reception but you do everything online. And this also includes getting your barcode for your hotel room. This was unique and actually quite useful. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially at the price that they were offering such a great room. I would definitely stay here again

The self check in system is really strange. When we checked in via the self check in kiosk it was difficult to operate and we didn’t see a soul there, Perhaps on account of the off season but it was a strange sensation overall. You don’t get a key or a code, you get a printed QR code that you have to scan. Which you need to even use the elevator or stairs. This made it super difficult considering we had three people traveling with us and I wonder what the protocol is if there was an emergency given there is literally no staff there at all. Room wasn’t bad. Large ceilings, big balcony overlooking the lake so that was nice. Dated plug ins and the seal on the shower bottom was broken so showering was kind of impossible. Overall the place looks like a palace when you drive up, with beautiful grounds but it could use some updating and definitely some staff working there

Nur für Personen mit grosser Toleranz zu ertragen!

Unsauber und diverse Mängel (Matratzen mit mulden, verstopftes Lavaux, Licht-birnen defect, WC Spülung Wasser läuft permanent, ungepflegter Garten,) Beim Frühstück habe ich des öfteren unsauberes Geschirr und Besteck angetroffen. Das einzige was toll ist, die super Aussicht auf den See.

Tornare rapidamente all'umano!

Come già dicevo, l'unica nota veramente dolente è la troppa digitalizzazione. L'ascensore, in salita, non parte senza aver letto il QR (media di tentativi, quattro; in discesa invece il QR non serve). Non c'è nemmeno un computer con una stampante: per stampare una pagina in .pdf (tra l'altro il Ticino Ticket, che era compreso nella prenotazione) sono dovuto andare fino a Locarno e perdere una mattina intera. Check in e check out (questo una vera sorpresa) devono essere inseriti a sistema dal cliente. Unico personale presente, una signora molto accogliente in sala (poche ore al mattino, per il resto deserto totale) che cerca anche di andare oltre il dovuto, ma ovviamente non può fare miracoli. Tutto questo, ovviamente, per tagliare i costi; comprensibile, ma anche al taglio dei costi deve esserci un limite.

L enregistrement se fait a une borne automatique, malheureusement. En effet, le code de réservation expedia nest pas reconnu. Jai du passer mon tour, et appeler le numero d urgence affiche. Au global 30 minutes de perdu. Le nom de l hotel est trompeur, rechercher l hotel Esplanade. Le style grand siecle est sympa, hôtel est bien place en hauteur mais le service n en est pas digne. On est plutot sur du 2 étoiles 1 nuit horrible car isolation phonique tres mauvaise Les prises électriques de l'éclairage est dangereux La tv est antique. Bref mauvais rapport qualité prix

3/5 Sternen Kommen wir erst mal zu den „negativen“ Punkten: Das Personal war nur telefonisch oder beim Frühstück erreichbar Die Sauberkeit war in unserem Zimmer „ok“ und die Klimaanlage braucht lange bis die Temperatur auch bemerkbar war. Der Check in hat etwas Zeit in Anspruch genommen, da es nur ein Terminal gab und der Buchungscode per Mail nicht zeitlich ankam. Dafür konnte es super schnell per Telefon gelöst werden. Damit kommen wir zu den positiven Aspekten: Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Preis ist Top und der Blick auf den See war sehr schön. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden und das Frühstück war sehr gut!

Das Hotel wirkt im allgemeinen Sanierungsbedürftig. Der Pool war nicht im Betrieb, ebenfalls war Wellness und Spa wie auf der Webseite nicht vorhanden. Der Check-In funktionierte nicht. Der Getränkeautomat in der Lobby funktionierte nur zum Teil. Der QR- Scanner zum öffnen der Türe funktionierte nicht immer. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich ausgestattet. Das Mobiliar ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Stühle waren z.T auf der Sitzfläche deutlich verschmutzt.
