Disfruté mi estadía, aunque el hotel muestra falta de mantenimiento: paredes con grietas, pintura desprendida, muebles viejos y plafones dañados. La cañería parecía tapada y los arreglos eran mal hechos. Tres días sin agua caliente, pese a reportarlo desde el inicio. Contraté habitación Preferred; me trasladaron al lounge para el check-in, donde pedí una almohada cervical (anunciada en su web como menu de almohadas), pero no tienen menú de almohadas. Prometieron buscar en Dreams, pero no ocurrió. Se solicitó cambio de habitación, pero el problema de agua caliente según era general. Para compensar, concierge Ricardo agendó hidromasaje y desayuno con mimosas, aunque enviaron el pedido equivocado y enviaron alimentos equivocados. El personal fue amable, destacando a Ricardo, Sergio y Dolores (mesera en Gohan). La comida fue regular; Bordeaux decepcionó, Gohan sobresalió. El servicio en restaurantes es lento y saturado, lo califico como malo. Preferred permite acceso a Dreams por la playa, que es excelente para relajarse y hacer esnórquel. La zona Preferred es amplia y cómoda. La habitación era grande y acogedora, aunque con detalles de mantenimiento. Un día no hicieron limpieza. Probé el tobogán de una swim-up, pero está en mal estado. En resumen, buena estancia con áreas de oportunidad; el personal mejora la experiencia.

En general excelente, solo hubo 2 cosas que no me gustaron, al llegar nos abordaron para darnos informacion del hotel y acabaron citandonos a un desatuno para vendernos estancias de la cadena hotelera, y otra cosa fue que me preguntaon que festejabamos, es mi aniversario 30 y al llegar al cuarto habia un letrero de feliz cumpleaños con otro nombré, quedaron en corregir eso que era un detalle y sorpresa para mi esposa y nunca lo corrigieron , pero eso si la comida exquisita en todos los restaurantes

Believe the bad reviews

Room didn't look anything like the pics. Bathroom had stains on the wall, light fixture hanging from wires, 1/8" layer of dust, missing toiletries. Food at Oceana was worst than cafeteria food. We had to leave the resort after checking in and go to another place. Still waiting for refund.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean. Maid service was good. The food service was very poor. Restaurants were closed during days they were listed online as open. Service in the Restaurants was very slow. The food was OK. Definitely not fine dining as listed. It was terrible but certainly not on par with "fine dining" as advertised. The mixed drink quality definitely depedned on which bar tender was working. The drink mixes they used were syrupy sweet and not very good. They push buying into their "vacation club" which is very annoying. The room quality was good, beach was great, it definitely had a lot of potential. But we will likely not stay here again.

The beach with crystal clear water and snorkeling was perfect. The room 921 had direct view to the beach. We were staying in preferred guests room and beach area. Room was clean, however the shower handle was coming of easily when turned on and off. The room was cleaned daily, but bar was not updated every day??? Even if we called and asked to bring more water and soda and leaving couple dollars for them, nobody would respond. The food in restaurants was okay, though, i would want their (market place) to have more choices of fresh vegetables and fruits. I would say the choices of food were poor there. You need to show up to buffet right after opening because later the day the food gets stale. There are couple more restaurants for example seafood Oceania (food was okay there) another Windows (also okay), and French Bordo restaurant. This one we went our last night and next day i had food poisoning, And we didn't have a good experience with the serving personnel there. So, it seems that we liked something and we didn't. We really loved our servers from Market Place Caffe: Rosana, Kenia, Ricardo, Alberto, Gaspar and Elizabeth. Specifically Rosana and boys made my husbands birthday special by having little cupcake with candle and birthday song. And last day when i had food poisoning Rosana was making sure that i will have couple of Ginger ale cans and crackers for my road to the airport. We did appreciate this Also there was one helpful lady at the beach with walky talkie

Disappointing Stay – Will Not Return Our stay at Secrets Aura Cozumel was extremely disappointing. Staff were consistently rude, especially when ordering food or drinks. At breakfast, I told our server Ronnie I’m allergic to lactose and asked for fruit without yogurt. He brought a plate with yogurt anyway and instead of getting a new one, he just swapped it with someone else’s plate at the table—completely careless and unhygienic. Service throughout the resort was poor, with staff often having bad attitudes and seeming annoyed by simple requests. On our second night, the resort lost power at 6 PM. We had no water or air conditioning until 2 AM. When I asked front desk supervisor Pablo for an update, he told me I had to “deal with it” and didn’t owe me any explanation—completely unprofessional. The resort clearly lacks proper training in customer service and hospitality. After this experience, I will never stay at Secrets Aura again, and I’ve lost confidence in the Hyatt brand overall—which is disappointing considering we’ve stayed at over 15 Hyatt properties in the last five years. Avoid this resort.
