Arriving from out of state, I didn’t know there was a time restriction for checking in to the hotel (there’s fine print according to receptionist - I couldn’t find it). My reservation was cancelled and I was charged a “no-show” fee. I called to see what had happened as I was turning into the parking lot. There’s a time sensitive check-in at the hotel that isn’t in the “fine print”. She was able to reverse the reservation after asking her what was going on. There was zero communication prior to cancellation/no-show fee. I get to the front office to check in, she hands me these tiny papers to fill out - says “I’ll be back in a few minutes just fill that information out” - I fill everything out and was given attitude when I asked what the papers were. There is a $100 deposit that is NOT listed on hotel.com or any reservation site. Hotel is run down, disgustingly dirty, and in a very sketchy area. Mold infested!!!!!!!! I asked for a different room and was told that there were none and that I can clean what was dirty. Microwave was blown up, literally but they replaced it, with one that was not even useable either. I was also given disinfectant (bleach free) and a small stack of paper towels to clean the room. No dishes in kitchenette. Coffee pot was molded. Stove didn’t even work in the room. All bad experience.
