What a disappointing experience.
My flight was on time. My bags were first off. And then, I went to the hotel shuttle area a little after 5:30. I expected to see the van around 6pm at the latest, however, it never arrived.
I saw several other hotel shuttles go by at least twice before deciding something was not right.
After almost 45 minutes, I called the hotel and never got a person to answer. I called back and after wading through the system, got a woman on the line. When I explained I was waiting for the shuttle, she very rudely informed me I had to call.
Nowhere on their site, in the voicemail system, or on any documents I received did it say I needed to call. Everything states the shuttle runs every 30 minutes from 7am-11pm.
While waiting is never fun, being scolded by a staff member before you even arrive at the hotel is never a great start.
Once the shuttle finally arrived, almost an hour after I arrived at the airport, they had picked up another guest at the previous stop. So clearly, there were several of us waiting for the shuttle.
Because of the late pick up, I was not able to fully enjoy the evening reception. Again, disappointing.
This whole experience is not up to the Hilton standard. It’s unfortunate this property isn’t being handled to their benefit.
I can only hope future guests may have better care.
And, as I’m writing this, the wifi signal keeps dropping. Yet another disappointment.
