We were very well taken care of by Noah and Gigi the Innkeepers. We were there over Christmas and they even brought us dinner on Christmas day because all restaurants were closed and we were just going to eat something we had bought the day before. We will come back to this Inn and to Edenton soon.

I'm sorry to say this was our worst B&B experience. Our room (for which we paid nearly $500 for one night!) did not have a phone or a clock, and worst of all, no thermostat. We were prepared for cool temperatures for our December stay, but the room was much too hot (and there was nothing we could do about it). The breakfast in the morning (only available from 8:00 to 9:30) was prepared ahead of time (so cold when we got it) and was "take it or leave it". No options, no choices; just the $4 eggs and sausage Special from Denny's.

Property was beautiful although the bathroom was a bit outdated. However, it was very hot inside due to lack of thermostat, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Location is excellent and close to downtown restaurants and shopping.

It pains me to only give this property an average rating and truthfully after our one night stay Im feeling generous with my rating. The queen bed in our room was horrible. It was hard and the bed creaked with every little move. My husband and I did not get much rest during the night. We both woke with back aches and soreness from the hard bed. So unfortunately it is hard to write about the positives of this B&B. For the nightly price I would have expected better mattresses and more comfort. We stayed in room #9 on the first floor. To leave this review on a few positives. The location was great. The historic homes in the area are beautiful and downtown Edenton was walking distance. Our room was clean and the large bathroom was nice considering it was a historic building.

Super cute with lots of charm. We arrived late after the normal check in time but was able to communicate quickly to get our room. Room was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the coffee was delicious. Highly recommend!!

From the moment we walked through the front door, we were greeted and treated as special guests. Gigi and team were extremely hospitable, even making an on-request breakfast item to accommodate dietary preferences! Coffee is delicious and always available. The outdoor sitting areas were enjoyable, even in the above-average heat. Edenton is one of North Carolina's true gems and staying at The Granville Queen was the icing on the cake!
