The HDGH is a lovely, low maintenance option in Five Points South - it's super conveniently located to an awesome breakfast spot (The Pancake House) and a nice coffee shop, and has an incredible bbq place (Jim & Nick's) also walking distance. There is no staff on the property so if this is important to you, be aware, it's a fully self-service location. Not an issue for my friend and I during our stay. Our two-bed suite was clean, comfortable and our bathroom shower had great water pressure and very hot water (always nice!). I will note that it also inexplicably had large a semi-transparent window that allowed you to see into it, which was not great or necessary and really prevented the sort of privacy most people would consider necessary while using a bathroom? Otherwise a very pleasant stay and would certainly recommend the house based on location and price.

Such a unique experience to be able to stay in a piece of history. So much to see just walking around each floor of this old house. No problem finding places to eat. The home is surrounded by interesting architecture. It was such a pleasant stay.

It is a nice place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the coffee bar was nice. The main area of the house is beautiful and it was interesting looking at the history of the house. It is in a great location for restaurants. Loved that about the house.

Awesome charming home in convenient location. A lot of wonderful history about the home. There was a used coffee cup upon arrival out on deck and a plastic fork under desk. I would recommend staying here but in another room. We stayed in room 10 and with the slanted ceilings wasn’t very comfortable or cozy. Kept hitting head on ceilings
