Lovely stay at Hotel Mokka City. Check in was smooth, and security was downstairs to guide us to the elevator and the right floor as the hotel occupies a few floors of an office building. Location is very central. Great hospitality, comfortable rooms, and reasonably priced restaurant/cafe.

I liked the location, quality of service, and the hotel’s basic facilities. If you are interested in a quiet place, this hotel may not be the best one. But that is because the hotel is in the very center of the city, which will provide great convenience.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Nairobi

Stayed at the Mokka City hotel at the start and end of our safari. Chose this hotel as it was located in the heart of the city which allowed us to go exploring and get away from typical resort hotels. Our stay was great - comfortable hotel and central to everything. Oustanding staff - especially the guy in reception - super friendly and helpful. Looked after our bags when we were on safari. The hotel has a great cafe/restuarant - great staff, great food and real value for money. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Kenya.

訪問先への近さと料金の安さで選んだので、それなりにリーズナブル。小規模な中上級のビジネスホテルで（雑居ビルの13－14F）滞在者はほとんど現地ビジネスマンクラスで日本人は初めてとのこと。部屋はクリーンで、電子蚊取り線香付きだけどエアコンがない（必要がない？）と冷蔵庫がないのは意外。後、シャワーのお湯が気まぐれにしか出ないので旅慣れた人向きで女性にちとつらいかも？但し、対応はフレンドリーでカフェレストランが併設でメニューも現代現地食が充実していて美味しいけど、アルコールがNGなので酒好きは持参の事。

Ok room in a central position, hot and noisy

An ok overnight. Hotel is in a shared use tower, floors 13 & up. Room was small but functional however no AC which was very disappointing, the whole reason I was prepared to pay UK rates. The restaurant is super super slow and dependant on the chef turning up.

3 nights stay in Nairobi

Very conveniently located in the heart of the CBD. The hotel is located on the 13th floor and above in a shared building. Stayed 3 nights and the room is of a decent size and very clean and new for the price. Breakfast is not included but you may get it at their dining hall or cafes within a short walk away. Many power points available for ease of charging devices. The drawback is there is some pub or disco nearby that is very noisy late into the early morning but the soundproof of the room is insufficient to insulate it completely.

Nice central hotel with a nice restaurant with a view. Loved the restaurant and the staff. Unfortunately they did not have the camel dish offered in the menu. Rooms clean and free coffee/tea. Felt safe in a sense there was staff in reception as well as cameras. Felt a bit uneasy though due to high risk in case of fire, no visible emergency exits and no fire stairs in 14th floor. No parking outside made my taxi picking/dropping a bit difficult due to luggage.

Great hotel, very conveniently located in city center. We stayed here twice during our trip in Sept 2023. Pictures are as advertised. Very safe! There are security guards at the entrance of the building and you need your key pass to enter your floor and room. Very clean and new. Rooms and washroom are spacious. Staff was very friendly and ready to accommodate anything. We ate at the restaurant a few times for convenience- clean, nice staff. Food was good, portions are big. Food is slow to arrive so make sure to give yourself enough time to order and wait. Two downsides: the elevators to the building are very slow and always packed. We found ourselves using the stairs a few times. There is a lot of noise from the city so if you are looking for a quiet place, this might be an issue. Rating this overall a five as I would recommend and would stay again.
