An AMAZING Beach view

We had such a nice time! Our room was all that we needed. Rafael was so quick to get back to me! I will definitely like to stay at Sea Dip again while visiting Daytona. The beach view was amazing. From the front door and from the back patio.

I loved my stay here! It is a perfect small condo type unit with a kitchenette. Perfect area to be very close to the boardwalk, but not in the center of all the tourist spots. Shops, and restaurants were maybe 5 min drive away at the most! Only walk across the parking lot distance to the beach! 10 minute walk down the beach to the pier!

I didn't even stay here. I tried canceling well in advance because of a family emergency. I'm not happy about the fact that I don't get my money back. Someone is getting my money for services that I didn't even use. I called and emailed Sea Dip resort and never received any responses before the stay. I will definitely never book through Hotels.com again or book with Sea Dip Resort. Had I received my money back this review may have been different. I never saw where it was non-refundable and Sea Dip Resort couldn't provide me with the proof it was non-refundable.I would not recommend staying here especially if you have an emergency and have to cancel.

The TV remote did not work properly. No sofa as shown in picture. No pan to make breakfast. Toaster faulty. Ceiling fan light came on by itself in middle of the night several times, waking us up. Amenities like a can opener, salt/pepper shakers and small hand soap in bathroom would have been thoughtful.

I’d like to visit again :)

I went for on a solo-trip to get away from the snow. For me, this was a perfect quiet location. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. My room was clean and beautifully furnished. I felt like it was my own beach condo. I love that I can see the beach from the bed. The owner was helpful if I needed something. There’s a private beach and 2 pools (indoor and outdoor). I felt safe, and perfectly comfortable and happy here for a 3-night stay. Thank you.

The unit was very nicely maintained. Was pleasantly surprised. The property itself was a little aged. But, had indoor and outdoor pools, and a game room nicely stock with a variety. From friends that stayed in non privately owned rooms,. I would not stay on this property. But, this room was great!!!

Overall, access to the beach was convenient. The little kitchenette was useful. The room was cute. However. We arrived in town around 2:30 AM. We had the email with our room number and access code to get in. After wandering around the property for half an hour unable to find our room and unable to get ahold of anyone, we decided to try room 29 instead of 59, like what was listed in our email. Turns out, that was a good guess, because we were given the wrong information on what our room number was.

Several items in the unit were broken, there were no toiletries provided, limited on towel and wash rags, sliding door handle, was broken and would not lock property needs maintenance. Paid for early cancellation protection, but was denied. A refund will not stay here again.

The property was a slack dump. The back door was all but broke off the hinges, the door could not be closed. The dead bolt did not work, the latch did not work and the door closer was ripped off the door. I had to tie a stool to the door for a tiny bit of security and to keep the wind from blowing the door open. The sheets on the bed looked like they were there for a while. I saw the cleaning lady's cart, with clean folded sheets on it, but the sheets on the bed were nasty and wrinkled all over. We slept on top of the blanket. There was supposed to be a kitchenette in the unit, but the stove top was fake and would not come on or work at all. If you are thinking of staying here or sleeping on a pallet behind the 7-11, the pallet is probably a better choice for the money!

We booked a 3 night stay in the waterfront studio. When we arrived on Friday we found out the property had no A/C and it was very hot and humid. (Actually the cord for the A/C unit Was laying in the floor disconnect. Also no screen on the sliding door to leave open to cool us down at night. So after less than an hour of being there we ask the owner if they would fix or if we could have our money refunded. So I reached out to the property owner and they said that they would just refund our money since it was Easter weekend and no one was available to repair the A/C unit. So we left and then they only gave us A third back of what we all ready paid them. Please do not rent from these scum bags!!!

My husband and I rented the room for 3 nights because our house was flooded due to the hurricane and we needed somewhere to go. It was so bad here that we ended up only staying for 4 hours, then went somewhere else. I hope the owner of this room enjoyed my money as much as I’m going to enjoy writing this review. BEWARE!: Room given was not the room advertised in the pictures. Room in the pictures is a standard sized hotel room, this was a NYC closet! Queen bed was just a foam thing on a sheet of plywood on a bed frame. Pull out sofa was extremely small, weird and was not able to accommodate a 5’2 human laying straight let alone diagonally across the “mattress.” I have no idea how 4 adults are supposed to be able to sleep in this room. Sliding glass door doesn’t slide in the track or really at all and was incredibly hard to get open as the handle is broken. The “range” doesn’t work so you can’t cook, only the microwave worked. The property has limited parking, small spots and rude parkers that staff refused to do anything about. Front desk staff was rude/non-existent so if you want/need something, you are on your own. Hall leading to room was SUPER small and sketchy. Noisy, dirty, sketchy people either staying or full on living in the rooms on either side of this room. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Slow, half broken elevator. Once the sun went down there was suddenly people all over the property shouting their problems to the world while on speaker phone. BEWARE!!
