We were very disappointed with our stay. When we arrived at the apartment, it had not been cleaned — including feces left in the toilet — which was extremely unpleasant. We had to spend time contacting the host and waiting for the cleaning team to come, which disrupted our plans for the day.
Although the host apologized and offered a late check-out as a gesture of goodwill, we could not use it due to our early flight. No refund or partial compensation was offered, and we were even told we had to pay extra for clean bed sheets, which felt unreasonable given the situation.
We were offered a 15% discount on a future booking, but this is not relevant to us as we do not intend to book with Italianway again.
On the positive side, we did receive extra towels upon request, and communication was relatively prompt. However, the lack of basic cleanliness upon arrival and how the situation was handled left us quite disappointed. We hope future guests have a better experience.
