Our flight arrived early and the hotel is near the airport, so we arrived early there too. Knowing that check-in time isn't until 4pm, we thought we'd see if we could check in early since we're traveling with a baby and needed to change her diaper, etc. The hotel parking lot was nearly empty and we saw a guy loading a cart to take his luggage into the hotel so odds looked good. The lady at the front desk wouldn't accept my ID and made a point of letting us know that it wasn't check-in time yet. My husband politely said yeah we know but the plane came in early. She curiously looked from us to our baby and decided to check available rooms although again, the lot was nearly empty. Of course there were rooms clean and available. After assigning us a room we noticed 4 more families approach the desk and check in with no problem. So the guy before us was successful and everyone after us was successful. None of them looked like us though. Prior to arriving, we'd booked this place for Saturday through Tuesday, then again Thursday to the next Saturday. After this experience we canceled the second leg with this hotel and booked at another property. We have family in Albuquerque and travel here monthly. First and last time at this hotel.

Bed is comfy, amenities are pretty good (supplies in kitchen, etc), and I stay here for the location between airport and venue for my meetings, and I REALLY appreciate having a kitchen and being able to open the windows. I have stayed numerous times before. In my room on this trip, the fefrigerator was loud (compressor failing), only lukewarm water in shower 2/3 nights (3rd night was OK...don't know what changed), the disposal never worked. I was too busy to report / deal with maintenance. I am assuming (hoping) this was an exception and not a trend.

Outstanding customer service from front office at check in, breakfast (Saul) and checkout Derrick). Kudos to Saul having to deal with the busy breakfast crowd but ensuring the food and coffee stations were filled and tables cleaned tor the next person(s). Offered help to someone that was struggling with a waffle that stuck to the waffle maker. I had actually stayed at another hotel the night before and was never acknowledged as with your staff. Congratulations on a great staff which is so hard to come by these days. Will definitely book reservations in the future. Forgot to mention that the room was very clean and comfortable!

The pool was closed during our stay. We did not realize it would be. Front desk staff told us they were waiting on a part because a diaper had clogged the filter. However, the signs at the pool said it was closed for seasonal maintenance.

I moved out and rented next door on the night I rented due to bugs in my room and a cockroach running up my arm working on my computer. Your staff showed me several rooms that were unacceptable due to being dirty also. I will be disputing the charges on my credit card with my credit card company because your site manager wants to charge me for a room that is infested. I will also be filing a complaint with the ABQ environmental health department and sending pictures to them due to your site management representatives response to the conditions he is selling on your behalf. In the main bathroom needed to be cleaned. Behind the door was bulit upnwith dust and hair. The pool was shut down. I booked this hotel becuase it had a indoor pool. No creamer in the room for coffee. The frezzer smelled really bad.
