While the location of the hostel is amazing, you can reach every landmark and cool spots easily by foot or bike, the building itself was run down. The rooms were kinda cleanish, but the showers were not clean and the toilets we’re disgusting or didn’t work at all. Staff was quit friendly.

Nice place, reasonable price. Very well located all amenities near by. Bar downstairs so expect the vibe to lively and a bit noisy. Construction out front, would come make some noise early in the morning and be gone before i got outside. Ha ha, likely due to weather. The place was fine, small but functional. I stayed in the women’s bedroom this time, and it was a much better experience compared to my last visit. The room was very clean and even had a sink inside, which was super convenient. There were around three bathrooms and three toilets on the floor, and they were all much cleaner than the ones on the 6th floor. Honestly, the cleanliness in the women’s section was impressive—you could almost splash water on all the toilets (not that you’d want to, but it shows how compact and well-kept everything was). However, the toilet behind the reception still takes the prize as the best one in the whole hostel!

I had a really great stay at this downtown hostel! It’s perfect if you’re traveling solo and want to meet other travelers—there’s a very social vibe, and it’s easy to connect with people. I met so many cool guests just hanging out in the common areas. The staff are also amazing—super friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Mr. Duffy, Sammy, Melissa, and Phoebe (and the others whose names I didn’t catch)—everyone was so kind and really made the stay feel welcoming. The location is excellent, very central, and easy to get around. The place is clean and well-kept, which I really appreciated. If I had to mention anything for improvement, I’d say I missed having a shelf by the bed for small things, and the toilets could use a bit of an upgrade. But honestly, those were small things in an overall really great experience. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun and friendly place to stay downtown!
