Terrible room

DON’T book this hotel!!! We were really really really disappointed with our room - we don’t mind it’s a small triple however it was entirely different from online booking pictures. Those pictures are so so so misleading. Everything in the room was very dated and made us feeling so uncomfortable, especially my little daughter. We spoke with the reception twice and requested to change the room, the day staff and night staff were both rude to reject, the reason was rooms full occupied (we checked their online booking, there are at least two rooms still available) and mainly we just stayed one night. If you are traveller, we won’t recommend this hotel, streets around are full of rubbish and mess, not walking distance from the Roma Termini train station, no nice restaurants or shops nearby, far away from all tourist attractions. It seems poor security in this district, so we called Uber only. Actually we have spent 5 days with Kolbe Hotel in Rome, visited Firenze, Venezia, Milan and backed to Rome as our final night, we thought it’s a nice 3 star hotel to complete our family trip, unfortunately it’s the worst hotel and staff we have experienced in Italy.

附近治安不好，但酒店本身不錯

首先，如果只是女生來住，除非你很有錢，每次回酒店也坐的士，否則建議找家附近治安較好的酒店，因為從車站走到這家酒店的路途是挺不舒服的，步程要30分鐘不在話下，而且沿路有大量垃圾，有撞風玻璃破裂然後裡面塞滿垃圾的車輛，感覺是無家者的所在地（不過白天沒有甚麼人，晚上就不知道了，我們晚上都全的士回酒店，不敢走路）。除了上述最需要關注的事，這家酒店其實不錯。房間雖然有點舊，但裡面的傢俱很典雅，很有特色，挺適合浪漫的兩口子來住。廁所雖然有點細，特別是淋浴的地方非常窄，但勝在水壓夠大，洗澡起來特別爽快，不用慢慢等水滴、滴、滴下。早餐非常棒，水果很甜，烘麵包加芝士和火雞腿片很不錯，而且有幾十種味道的茶包供選擇，是個可以吃飽飽的地方。特別提醒會攜帶超過一個大呎吋行李的朋友，房間能放行李的地方不多，只有一個躲在門後的行李架，如果你有多過一個行李，就只能放在地上，也許會有點阻路。

Classic comfy hotel

This is a nice hotel with great service and good bedroom yet the bathroom has some flaws ( the nosisy motor fan) but after a it's a beautiful classic hotel . By taxi from hotel to temini station is about 9 euros

Everything seems old The door make me concern about the safety problem I didn't open the window because it is winter and I concern of the safety So I can't feel enough fresh air and the air conditioner seems no work If you drink or smoke There is a small garden with chairs and table outside the rooms Feels quite good even I didn't use The staff have good service They spend times tell us many informations about our trip and and the cheapest way to our destination We feel so grateful for them But please check the closing time of those places you want to go and be careful of the public holiday (some places will be closed like vaticana) The staff did not mentioned, I think they may not know many about this We are forbidden to enter one hour before the closing time (colosseo) The hotel is quilt far away from the train station Please don't trust google map and we spend about 45 minutes walk from the train station And the public security make you feel bad even we go there in the morning

First night we were given a terrible room with mold and smell of damp. The bathroom was renovated but the whole room stunk. The blanket was all covered with hair from probably previous people stayed in the room. Next day we were given another room upon request, it was in much better shape no mold but the blanket was still full of hair. The only reason I chose this hotel was its ratings but it doesn't deserve 8 point. You are better with another hotel closer to the city because lacation isn't good.

Our little oasis

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful such a wonderful little oasis. The staff were so helpful and couldnt do enough to make you feel like a special guest,nothing was too much trouble even opening the bar for us when it had closed. I really cannot put into words how much we enjoyed our 8 night stay. We will really miss them. Oh and the breakdasts are really good value for money too.

This is a classic hotel with marble floor and antique feel. I would stay again, except it is a 20 minute walk from Roma Termini over rough sidewalk. Also, the area is not the cleanest in Roma. However, just walk in the direction of restaurant street and the surrounding becomes better. It is close to an old Roman wall.

Property was great. Area did not feel safe. Okay during the day, unable to clarify after hours. Transport not near. Walking to the train station 15mins via different streets. Once I got my bearings I was okay. Not suitable if you want to catch train or shuttle bus to the are port if you have luggage pathways poor, not good for bag wheels.

Personnel accueillant et serviable. La salle de bain est digne d'un hotel 4 étoiles, rénovée avec une douche a plusieurs jets. La chambre est dans le style ancien, ceci a du charme, mais une forte odeur de moisissure persiste dans la chambre et elle semble venir de la ventilation. La porte de la chambre, donnant dur l'exterieur, est fissurée, mais le frigo fonctionne tres bien.

„Das Personal war sehr nett und das Frühstück hat mir gut gefallen. Auch die Einrichtung des Zimmers war schön. Leider waren die Zimmer jedoch alt und feucht. Meine Kleidung hat selbst nach der Rückreise noch unangenehm gerochen. Außerdem war das Bett leider nicht bequem. Insgesamt hatte der Aufenthalt sowohl positive als auch negative Seiten, daher kann ich das Hotel nur eingeschränkt empfehlen.“

The staff were very nice, and the hotel felt cozy overall. My room was clean, and the bathroom looked recently renovated, which was great. However, the area around the property was quite dirty, and the Smart TV in my room wasn't connected to WiFi, so it didn’t work during my stay. Other than that, everything else was good.
