Tony was excellent in giving us advice on Siena, made us feel very welcome and had great humour. The breakfasts were wonderful. The Hotel retains many of the lovely charms and history of Siena.

Overall, this was an amazing stay for us. The suite was spacious, with spectacular views of the Duomo and the city. It’s perfectly located in the center, close to everything. I highly recommend it. The only suggestion I have is for the property to receive a bit of TLC to upgrade it slightly, but other than that, it was an incredible stay.

I liked the helpfulness and friendliness of the desk receptionists, especially Tony and Sergio. I did not like the inconvenient key protocol, the fact that no coffee or tea was provided in the room, that the soap provided was pathetically small.

Normally parking is not bad, you park in what they call central parking and you get a discount. During palio you are not allowed to drive in the city and need to drive around the center to get to parkjng.

Very outdated. But very clean. The breakfast was not good. The staff were all amazing ! The beds were very very uncomfortable and the blankets felt kind of yucky. Seemingly really old. I wouldn’t stay here again for how outdated it is. But great location. I don’t think it’s worth the price tag

We had what felt like a 19th century bed with springs sticking into our bodies. Dirty and torn bedside lamp and carpeting outside room. Not worth the money. We left after one night even though we’d payed for two with no chance of refund. Also shower in bathroom not separate so entire bathroom wet and impassible

The staff is decent and nice but the hotel is very dated and grungy. It was generally clean but walls need repaired and carpets were well worn and appeared dirty due to age and use. It was more like a dorm room than anything. The showers were terrible, we had two rooms, actually after changing from a single room for three, due to no air conditioning. The showers were a curtain and the bathrooms were tiny. Air conditioning did not work well in any room so we did not sleep. We checked out a day early after only one night stay. I would never go back even if it were the last room left in Siena, I would stay elsewhere and day trip in! All in all, if you would like to sleep on a rock, sweat all night, and feel like you can’t touch anything because it is grungy, then this is the place for you!

Amazing place to stay in Siena!

I visited Siena for the Palio, once last year and again this year staying at the Hotel Duomo both times. The staff are very helpful and friendly. You can tell from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff they love what they do and the professionalism shows! They also arranged my private ride from Florence Airport direct to the hotel. Amazing and I will stay here in the future.

The location is best as it is at the center of the city. The information about ZTL and parking option is clear. We chose to find free parking outside of the wall based on the info from the staff and the they didn't mind at all although it will not make them money. The breakfast is superb!! Good and abundant choices, tasty too. Cost performance is very good considering how affordable the hotel rate is.
