I've stayed here at least five times. I don't need a luxury motel. Harbor City is a great off the beaten path to stay. No carpet, just a smooth wood or laminate floor, refrigerator and microwave suit me just fine. Always stop off at Panda Express across the street and bring my dinner in at check in. First time I visited a few years ago, things were a bit rough, but no significant complaints now. If you want a step above motel 6, it's here!

I have stayed here a few times as well as other local properties many other times and the area seems quite safe. The room is just fine for an inexpensive overnight stay. This is the perfect stop over for cruises out of San Pedro. There is a local bus directly from LAX. The bus stop in Harbor City is right in front of Panda Express just yards from the hotel where I always pick up dinner before checking in. The next morning I catch a direct local bus to the cruise port. The first time I came they asked for a key deposit, but never since. Either they changed policy or they don't bother for returnees.

Ceiling falling apart, condom on floor, stains on bedding, charged me anvextra 20 dollars because i had visitors in my room and key locked me out at 2am had to getva new one. Horrible place.

Good place to stay if on a budget. Room was clean, very convenient to get transit at the door, had option for local food. One bus from LAX to this property only cost $1.75 instead of car service. Staff was very nice and accommodating as well. Im happy that I selected this property
