First of all, the hotel is beautiful and the art adds such an interesting element. I absolutely loved the building, galleries, and restaurants. Food was delicious and everyone working at Idol Wolf and Good Press went above and beyond although they seemed to be a bit understaffed. Valet staff was helpful. Probably not staying here again

Extremely disappointed, in light of rate paid. No wash cloths, no shampoo or body wash in tub, had to use bath mat in tub in order to avoid slipping due to ultra slick surfaces. Front desk was slow and untrained. Restaurant menu was very unappealing. No hotel baggage carts available, however Valet parking was excellent.

Great hotel for art lovers!

This hotel is one of my top favorite hotels that I ever stayed at! The decor, service and museum is top notch! All of their staff are helpful & friendly. I absolutely loved their coffee shop downstairs too. I highly recommend the lavender latte and cinnamon rolls. I loved everything about it!

Unhappy customer

I didn’t have a good experience. Me and my family stayed during the Kendrick concert. I booked a king room and upon arrival they had me in a bunk bed room and said they were sold out. It was uncomfortable for me and my husband and the filter was dirty in room. My kids booked a separate room and their toilet ended up not working. The next day they got a new room and I looked on the website and saw they had 2 rooms open. I called the desk to demand our room be moved to one of the open king rooms since that’s what we booked in the first place. They ended up agreeing but said it would happen later in the day. We went out to eat and they called saying the room was ready and we had to hurry back and check into the new room if we wanted it. We had to leave the restaurant before we got to order the main course. The whole stay was annoying. The rooms were nice and the hotel itself was nice but the cleanliness of the room wasn’t great. They gave us a 75$ food and beverage credit for the room mix up but the food costs are a little steep so it didn’t go far. Idk if I’d stay again.

Best hotel experience ever!

We booked the room last minute on our travels. The hotel was an amazing experience, the room was wonderful. Our son loved the bunkbed and the art gallery and the indoor pool. Husband and I loved the spa and hot tub. Highly recommend staying here!

You need management ASAP

We stayed here for our anniversary. From the time we arrived until the time we left, there were issues. There was a fire alarm that went off after we were in bed and we had use an actual fire escape from the 9th floor only to find out it was someone who was smoking in the hallway but yet no one notified the hotel of an all clear as we stood outside in our pajamas after going down a fire escape. When I talked to the Room Director he told me it was the fire department’s job not his. Next, the elevators weren’t working and we had to walk up and down 9 flights of stairs. When I inquired, I was told some kids were jumping in the elevator and it caused a problem. Perhaps someone would be managing the property a bit better? We asked for cups for our coffee maker in our room. Never could get them. This was a terrible start. It was our first time here and it will be our last. When we stopped to talk to the front desk at check out, multiple people were complaining. Strong suggestion to get some alert and involved manager.

A clean, classy stay

Such a nice hotel that I thought I was in a classier city than Saint Louis. Very clean. Lively scene in the lobby area. Art art art. All looks very new and well thought out. I will recommend to family and friends when they visit.

Filthy beds

The beds were filthy and stained on the first night. When I went and told the front desk, they informed me that housekeeping was gone and that I would have to wait until the next day. Housekeeping NEVER came to make or clean the beds, and by the third day I had to be moved into another room due to whoever’s incompetence resulted in this neglect. To say I am upset and disappointed would be an understatement, and I’m grateful that I was there for a college graduation, and as such no longer have to go to St. Louis, much less this hotel.

Upsetting

Was disturbed that the safe in my room was not working. Someone came up but could not repair it. This was very inconvenient as I was attending a graduation and was not allowed to carry anything in. Really needed that safe to leave my valuables and gift in while at the ceremony. A front desk person and I had a conversation about this. They said there was nothing they could do about it. We discussed a credit on my bill for this inconvenience at checkout. When I checked out I was told they could not do anything about this as it was booked through a third party. Loved the museum in the hotel though.
