This is the worst experience with Expedia! This cannot be categorised as hotel, it shall be under motel! Totally a deception. Everything is old and not clean- the TV is not working, the hairdryer is dusty and sticky, no air con, the shower room is in poor condition whilst the shower room tap is in weird and unfriendly design that you have to push & twist open very hardly to the maximum volume to keep water warm/hot (even the staff cannot do it successfully every time) however the drain is not okay to take such a big water splash that the shower room will be in flooding. You can only be quick to rush to finish the bath, or you will have to keep experimenting the tap on&off to ensure hot water coming out again. This is NOT yet the worst part! They went into our room for housekeeping on the other day which we did not expect! There is no a room sign “do not disturb” for us to hang outside, while it’s weird for a budgeted hotel to come in and do housekeeping while we are staying 2 nights only. Privacy is extremely important, as well as the hygiene! On the 2nd night (after they did their so-called housekeeping), we found bed bugs on our bed!!!! Can you imagine how a disaster when we are travelling with the kid? We have to rush to laundry to make sure the bed bugs will not breed on our stuff! I will NOT recommend anyone with kid to come and I think Expedia should blacklist this hotel to avoid those tragedies happening again on all travellers.

Nice and helpful people. We booked two single bedrooms which is in the second floor, but it’s hard to carry two big luggage to go upstairs, finally they let to change a room at ground floor which has a better bathroom and quiet too.

We checked out after one night without any refund for the remaining 7 nights. All the service, equipment and environment are terrible. No one opened the heating before we checked in. As a foreigner who came to London for the first time, we didn’t know there was a heating. There was no hot water in the shower. After we complained, the staff opened the heating, but we already had a cold night and caught a cold. The bed was not clean and smelly. The double bed was too small to bear two adults. The bathroom was too narrow to turn round. In a word, it was a horrible experience in the hotel. 我们住了一晚就退房了，剩下7晚也没有退费。所有的服务、设施和环境都非常糟糕。没有人在我们入住前打开暖气。我们作为外国人第一次到伦敦并不知道屋子里有暖气。洗澡也没有热水。第二条我们投诉后，店员才为我们打开暖气，但是我们已经冻了一晚并且感冒了。床也不干净还有味道。双人床太小根本睡不下两个成年人。卫生间也很窄转不开身。总之，这家酒店体验非常糟糕！

在这里住了两晚。酒店在西敏区，位置不错。房间比较宽敞，但是卫生间真心小，提供毛巾、电吹风机，其他就没有了。电源插座只有一个。提供英式早餐，每天都一样。据店员说wifi设备正在维修，时好时坏，我们四个人中只有一人能连上。些设施简单也就算了，没想到老公晚上睡觉被臭虫咬，看着一个个红肿的大包，心疼死了。有照片为证。最后一张照片上发现的是我们已经离开这家酒店第二天起的包，估计衣服上沾了虫子，全套换下来密封带回家消毒驱虫。

I stayed here for four days in their double room. The room is compact but have all the basic things you’ll needed. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is a pleasant surprise. For the location, it’s just minutes walk away from the train and coach station and there are supermarkets and restaurants just around the corner. Things maybe considered as cons included the stairs are quite narrow and steep for the big luggage and the WiFi signal is weak. But none of these concerned me as far as the location they offered.

Located at City center and very close to Victoria train station and Victoria coach station. The breakfast provided are very good quality. The pitfall are no lift and hard for you if you have heavy luggage, no air conditioning and it is hard if hot weather and the WiFi provided are very slow.

飯店位置交通方便， 鄰近各大旅遊景點， 附近有一個大型超市及餐館吃東西很方便，早餐能吃飽。 房間在地下一樓，沒有電梯，必須搬著行李走下非常狹窄樓梯，房間正對著早餐餐廳，從早上6:00多就有工作人員在門外及窗外走動， 講話聲抽油煙機的聲音每天早上就能將人吵醒，不須設定鬧鐘！！！另外白天及晚上洗衣機在外吵個不停，再加上這－扇靠天井的窗子若是關上就通風不佳，伴著路人說話聲、機器噪音及異味入睡，睡眠品質慘烈！浴室狹小，房間設備基本，我們住了三天，打掃人員每天清理，但是仍然覺得不乾淨。

Um ponto favorável é a localização. O banheiro é minúsculo, desconfortável e com um tapete branco todo manchado. Havia somente uma tomada no quarto e ainda com fio aparente. O café foi servido numa espécie de porão. Ponto positivo: a preocupação da funcionária em atender todos.

Bonjour Au départ j'avais réservé une chambre triple puis on m'a proposé deux doubles pour le même tarif ok mais avec un seul grand lit !!!! Les chambres sont petites avec une salle de bain bien . Parcontre les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées on entend tous les bruits de dehors et des voisins.....peu dormi les deux nuits que nous y sommes restés.Le petit déjeuner dans une petite pièce où il n'y a pas assez de place pour tous le monde!!!! Il ne faut pas êtres exigeant café chaud jus d'orange en brique le "pain" de mie beurre et confiture pour les oeufs et haricots fait a la demande avec une saucisse...le personnel très sympa et disponible hôtel bien placé et pour le prix faut pas espérer des étoiles... Dommage que je ne puisse pas ajouter des photos....

This hotel was what we expected (pretty dated) and on arrival found that most of our sockets didn't work. We reported this and was soon sorted out for us whilst we were out, so was no issue. Free breakfast was included. Toast, egg, sausage and beans. Which was easily adequate to start our day! There was some miscommunication on breakfast times. Reception told us 7.30-9.30 but a notice on the wall stated only until 9am. Sadly, a couple of guests were turned away at 9.10am. (Luckily we saw the notice) Overall, definitely a good value, for a budget hotel! Thank you!

O Stanley House é um hotel simples, com ótima localização em Westminster e um atendimento que merece destaque — os funcionários foram sempre respeitosos, solícitos e se esforçaram para se comunicar, mesmo com a barreira do idioma. O serviço de quarto funcionou muito bem, com toalhas e roupas de cama limpas e trocadas regularmente. Apesar disso, o quarto apresentava sinais de desgaste, como reboco caindo e cortina improvisada. O banheiro era bastante apertado, mas funcional. O café da manhã, no estilo tradicional britânico, era honesto, mas com poucas opções, especialmente para crianças. Um ponto positivo foi a máquina gratuita de chá e chocolate quente para os hóspedes e a gentileza de permitirem deixar as malas antes do check-in. Uma boa opção para quem busca praticidade e cordialidade, com alguns pontos a melhorar na estrutura.
