Don’t stay here

Good location. Very expensive for what it has to offer. Old furniture and humidity smell in the room . The room was crowded with furniture and you can’t move around it. Is better to stay out of Mont Saint Michel and take the free shuttle to the Abbey.

Hospedagem maravilhosa dentro do Monte Saint Michel! Quarto e banheiros amplos e muito bem limpos. Chuveiro com água bem quente e muito confortável. Nice stay on the Island

Staying overnight at Mont St Michel was a nice experience. There are only a handful of options available on the island, all of them overpriced. The Auberge met our needs with a nice room off of the main path. The beds and shower were fine, the WiFi a little spotty.

Historic hotel

There is no lift, the hotel checkin is one flight up a winding staircase. Our room was up another level with another winding staircase. The room was comfortable the decor is old world. The bathroom shower was in a tub that was not easy to climb into could be considered hazardous. It was nice to stay on the island and enjoy the peacefulness at night.

When staying on the island, it is incredible walking around late at night or early in the morning where the shops are closed and the town is empty of people. The town is magical. Watching the tide roll in or out is impressive, as there is a 20km shoreline from high and low tides.

Wonderful hotel in historic building on Mont Saint Michel with excellent rooms and a very nice restaurant. Staff was kind in having us place our luggage in a safe room after checking out so we could tour the abbey

We had an annex room. Our room was clean and spacious (we had a couch and lots of room). Amazing to be in the heart of the village! Yes, there are lots of stairs but it is a medieval village and expected. Staff was friendly and helpful, we loved our visit.
