The apartment is very spacious with great sea views from little balconies. The host Laura was very communicative and helpful throughout our 3 night stay.
Major issue, no parking outside, which it states there is. We couldn’t even drive to the property to drop off our bags due to a new restriction zone in the city which we were not made aware of.
We had to park at the other end of the city (40euros a day) and get a taxi to the apartment. Same again on the way out.
To their credit the management of the apartment did partially refund us for the unexpected costs we had incurred due to no parking.
There are a lot of steps from the street to get to the apartment, which is almost in the top floor, and no lift. If you have heavy cases then this might be a problem.
The bedroom floor was dirty, with litter and empty drinks bottle lying under the bed. The shower fitting was broken, so you had to hold the shower head manually to actually take a shower. One of the towels was frayed with a whole in it, and there was no way to light the gas hob.
The bed was comfy, as was the living room sofa. Small local shop at the bottom of the stairs was used on several occasions to buy provisions.
While the apartment has its issues we did manage to enjoy our stay overall. Do bear in mind it is approximately 30 mins walk to the historic centre and longer coming back as it is all uphill and steps.
