Living aboard a houseboat is an unforgettable experience. Imagine casting your line from your deck and hauling in a delicious bass. Or enjoying the still of the evening overlooking the glassy inlet waters. Our host Toni was knowledgeable of the area, friendly and welcoming.

Our houseboat was infested with a severe cockroach problem. My fiancé grabbed a sponge, and smaller cockroaches started crawling all over his hand. Sitting on the couch, we could see them coming up from every crack. They crawled all over the walls, counters, and even came out of the AC units. We paid about a grand to stay there, but we didn’t even get a single night’s stay because of this. We had to find a new hotel at night. This is a complete health hazard, and no one should stay here. They should be shut down until this problem is solved. When we called, the girl laughed at us. Seriously, do yourself a favor and don’t stay here! After waiting for my refund, which hasn’t come yet (it’s been two weeks), I’d like a refund for the stay and reimbursement for the last-minute hotel stay. I should also receive more due to all the food we bought to stay in the boat and had to throw away afterward. Talk about over a grand wasted because of this.

Loved unique houseboat experience rather than normal hotel. Commode is a typical boat/RV type we corresponding smells. A deodorizer spritz after using & keeping lid closed worked wonders. We were there in May being from Las Vegas (basically no bugs) were stunned by the mosquito attacks. Staff was fantastic & very attentive to any requests

My family and I LOVED our stay here! The aqua lodges were super clean, the staff was awesome, and the views were great! We enjoyed having our breakfast on the deck watching the sea life (manatees daily) and ending our days in that same place enjoying time together! Will definitely be back!

Roaches and broken blinds spoiled the stay.

We are not a fussy family at all, but were very dismayed due to seeing four (4) roaches running around our very first night in the unit. We stayed in the Manatee boat/lodge and also blinds on the windows were ALL broken and tattered. When we pointed out the issues, management offered, and did, move us to another unit the following day and mentioned they had blinds they could install to replace the broken ones. Quite disappointing and disturbing. There is no way they were unaware of the roach situation.

Amazing experience on a fully equipped houseboat. The unit was clean, spacious and comfy bed. The deck overlooked the water where fish, manatees and birds were plentiful. The staff was warm and welcoming and the neighbors around us were friendly! Perfect location to explore the area. Will definitely come back again.

Underbar husbåt vi gärna kommer tillbaka till

Underbar husbåt. Mysigt att sitta ute på däck och äta på morgon och kväll samtidigt som vi tittade på fiskar, pelikaner och sjökor. Väldigt bra bemötande från receptionen, och så skönt att kunna tvätta lite kläder. Bra utrymme för hela familjen på fem personer (2 vuxna och 3 tonåringar). Bra städat och bra med utrustning i köket.

Look forward to our next stay.

Stayed a couple of days prior to our cruise. The boats were nice and we would most definitely stay there again. Could use some refreshing or deep cleaning some things were in need of repair, but dont let that deture you. It is a nice place with lots of things to do around the area along with some great food stops.

Houseboat was amazing

Amazing time staying in the houseboats. Quiet and peaceful. We watched the manatees every morning while sitting on the back of the boat. Great location. Staff was helpful, quick to respond with what we needed. We even rented a fishing pole and bought some bait. Couldn’t beat their prices anywhere. Definitely worth the stay and I would recommend to anyone.
