We recently stayed at this property and, regrettably, our experience did not align with the hotel’s five-star rating. Upon arrival, We found a clump of hair in the bathroom, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and attention to detail. The additional cleaning provided after reporting the issue included housecleaning spraying and wiping areas where there was hair.
The mattress was uncomfortably hard, and the pillows lacked quality and support, resulting in a less-than-restful night’s sleep.
Housekeeping services were inconsistent during our stay; on one occasion, the room was not serviced at all - we called the front desk and they confused our room with another guest room.
Additionally, the hotel’s location proved somewhat inconvenient, as it was difficult to access directly from the main road.
Another point of frustration was the television, which functioned intermittently throughout our stay.
Staff are friendly but assistance requires repeated requests. Our last night there, we requested to pre-book our car to the airport and at our departure time, this had not been done. We had to wait for them to find a car.
While none of these issues alone would be insurmountable, together they detracted significantly from the overall experience we would expect and have experienced at other five star properties.
In summary, although the hotel aspires to five-star status, our stay reflected more of a 3 to 3.5-star standard.
