Great guest house. Tucked in the hills, with a view of the ocean, flowers and roosters crowing. Owners are very nice and helpful. Let us use snorkel equipment and beach towels. They helped us with navigating the island and places to visit. Other guests were also respectful and friendly. They have a fridge and outdoor kitchen to make your own dinner. You need a rental car for here and to see the island.

Notre séjour de 3 nuits à la Maison Taina suite à la dernière étape de notre voyage de 4 semaines en Polynésie française a permis de terminer notre périple en beauté. Accueil et petit déjeuner en présence de Valérie et Laurent, une merveille. Logement magnifique et cosy, à l'écart des encombrements de Papeete. Nuits calmes ( nos meilleurs sommeils de notre séjour. I absolutely love this place! It's situated in the hills of Tahiti and had beautiful views of the ocean. The rooms were very large and well decorated. The family who owns and manages the property are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They were very accommodating to our requests and provided info about the places to visit on Tahiti and Moorea. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful and Warm Hospitality

Wonderful stay in the hills overlooking Papeete. Maison Taina is charming and very hospitable mostly due to the warm, welcoming nature of Valerie (the owner) and her son, Tom. Both did everything they could to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The welcomed addition of breakfast each day made for a delicious start to our Tahitian adventure

Incredible stay! The hosts were beyond accommodating and gave great local recommendations (plus cooked a delicious breakfast!) This beautiful property is situated nicely up a hill above the bustle below. I'd rather stay here than at any resort. Book a rental car, stay here, and explore the incredible island!

Valerie was a wonderful helpful host, who gave us a lot of good suggestions. The daily breakfast was good and appreciated. The pool was very nice too. Room was big, comfortable and private. Would definitely recommend.

I got lucky to find this family run guest house in a quiet hill neighborhood in Arue. Laurence, Valerie and super chef son Tom were beyond hospitable and made a wonderful stay in Tahiti even more so. The personal touch was everywhere, breakfast was a treat, and the thoughtfully prepared dinner option was amazing. Five stars!!

Super maison d’hôtes

Une maison d’hôtes située légèrement en hauteur avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Les chambres sont joliment décorées et spacieuses. Il y a une piscine et un coin restaurant pour prendre un verre ou pour manger. L’endroit est vraiment super ! Merci à Valérie et Laurent pour leur accueil, leurs conseils et leur gentillesse. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison !
