The location was great! Gorgeous views and a short walk to Plaza, churches, restaurants, etc.
The room was good, although the AC wasn't as powerful as I needed - if turned it off when leaving the room (which they ask you to do), it took forever to cool the room down again (and I had to skip trying to cool down the bathroom altogether and just keep the bathroom door closed, which meant it was almost always hot in there.) The bathroom was a bit stinky (sewer smell coming up through the shower drain), but I know that's a common issue and not specific to this hotel.
I booked this assuming they would have a mini fridge and/or microwave in the room, but they didn't - they also didn't have any drinking water! They normally expect you to get your drinking water from the lobby (but there's no water jug or anything to use). There is a Keurig coffee maker in the lobby but you have to buy the coffee from the receptionist. They do have a small mini fridge in the lobby but no microwave, meaning you have to eat out for every single meal, which makes this place really expensive for more than a day or two. When I asked them about it, they wouldn't let me cancel/give me a refund for ANY part of my 9 day stay, so I couldn't afford to switch hotels. However, they did bring the hotel's one fridge up to my room, as well as a huge water jug, and a bag of ice, which I appreciated.
