This hotel is an oasis of peace and quiet in sharp contrast with Interlakken itself. Every evening was like taking a beautiful deep breath after a day in the popular tourist areas. Beautiful decor, impeccable cleanliness, and wonderful staff. So happy we chose to stay here for 4 night! Absolutely recommend!

It’s a charming boutique hotel with a wonderful view of the lake. The property is located near the railway, so the mountain-view rooms can be a bit noisy during the day, but trains don’t run at night. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, I would recommend choosing a lake-view room for the best experience.

The location of this hotel is amazing! The lake view from our balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed spending quiet time on the hotel terrace overlooking the lake. Absolutely tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. Our bed was comfy. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend!!!

Anne, our host, was very friendly and helpful to show us around and give suggestions. We loved everything, the quietness of the town. The breakfast was great. It would be a very good choice especially if you travel by car. The town is a bit away from interlaken and there aren’t many dining options in town. However, it still worked out for us by bus or train if you plan well with their schedules.

The Alpina Hotel was an absolute delight. Our stay couldn’t have been better—the rooms were spotless and well-kept, and the views from the windows were nothing short of iconic. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, easily the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. A special mention goes to Monica, whose warmth and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a meal while taking in breathtaking views of the lake. They have these hand written reviews from the guests framed and hanged on the walls, I loved the idea. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel—10/10 experience!

Hotel Alpina is a charming, wonderful little boutique hotel with beautiful views and very convenient to bus and train routes. The hotel was quiet and clean! The bed was comfortable. Gorgeous views of the lake, wonderful place!

We had a room with a balcony and view of the lake, which was absolutely stunning. The room itself was very nice, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and delicious, with made to order eggs, and a large variety of items. Staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the location was ideal for us. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but the train was a 10 minute easy walk (or bus stop is about the same distance). Train stopped every hour, so we had our schedule to be there for the 8:20 into Interlaken Ost each day, one stop away. And then an easy transfer to anywhere we were heading for the day. This hotel also offers parking if you have a car (we had Swiss Travel Passes). There's a lovely covered area with tables/chairs in front of the hotel (across the road) that overlooks the lake as well. We didn't get to take advantage of this area as much as we'd liked to, as there's just too much to do! We hope to go back next year, this place was a highlight for us.

Excellent location in front of lake. Richard was very pleasant, welcoming and made sure our stay was the best ever. Superb breakfast and personalized service. We had the most wonderful experience at Boutique Hotel Alfina! They made my mom’s birthday so incredibly special. When we arrived, we were surprised with beautiful balloons, a birthday card thoughtfully signed by Tania and Richard, delicious macarons, and chocolates. It was such a heartfelt touch that meant so much to us. The location is conveniently located just a couple of minutes’ walk from the bus station. Our room had a gorgeous balcony with breathtaking views of the lake. It was truly magical and so relaxing, a perfect place to unwind and soak in the scenery. Breakfast was phenomenal. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The quality and variety were impressive, making every morning a treat. Tania, Richard, and all the staff were so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their hospitality was unmatched. Tania even took the time to help us figure out the best route for our travels and made sure we got where we needed to go without any trouble. We felt so at home and completely cared for during our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to ensure we had the best experience possible. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting the area.
