Comfortable large double room, clean and fresh smelling. The on-suite was large and well set out. Only negative was a shower that barely sprayed, no pressure and the temperature fluctuated. Bed was very comfortable and the quilt heavy. Food was standard pub fare well cooked and delicious. The staff were were good, welcoming and helpful. Car parking was easy and secure. Will stay again if available.

The welcome to the hotel was great and the room was decorated really nice, warm room and bathroom is so nice, Good pub attached we didn't eat at the restaurant, That's the good bits, Unfortunately there are some bad bits, we were put in room 25, and the people above us seemed like they were walking a marathon, most the night and from 4.00am in the morning all we could hear is floor boards moving across the whole room, then we had a toilet waste in the corner of the room which you could hear every flush like it was in your room. Not the best mattress i woke up with a bad back, I went to reception at 20.00 and no one was there, if there was any lines of communication to follow i missed it, Very disappointing visit.

I was upgraded from a single to a double room, which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and very clean. It was however, slightly chilly as the heated towel rail in the bathroom was turned off. I hunted everywhere for a switch and eventually asked staff member, who showed me it was above head height, above the door! Once turned on, the room took some time to warm up. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again
