Staff was very rude. False advertisement of hotel. In a very unsafe part of town. A very. Horrible experience. I saved all year so i could take my grandchildren to thunder over Louisville and was told it was within walking distance. WAS NOT AT ALL no inside heated pool. It was freezing and staffwas so overly rude. So very disappointing. Very unsafe hotel. A really bad part of town

From the moment we walked in our first evening till check out the staff were amazing. He had a lite supper and a couple drinks in the restaurant prices and portions were decent. Breakfast both mornings was hot, well stocked and had a great selection. Bed was comfortable even had 2 types of pillows soft and firm. We go to Louisville a few times a year for over night trips we will be back here for sure!

Staff at checkin was very aloof and impersonal. Our reservation said we had breakfast and the front clerk told us there would be an $11 charge we went to our room and the toilet did not work we attempted to call the hotel for more than 20 minutes came down to the front office waited probably 30 minutes more when the front desk girl finally came back there was a whole line of people waiting for her some people trying to check in us who had a problem with our room and another man who also had a problem with his room. When it was our turn to talk to the girl she got really irritated with us when we said our toilet was not working at all it had no water in it and we could not flush it she said well you're only option is to move to another room which we were fine with if we had to but it was not top of our list because it was already after 9:00 p.m. she when I questioned where people were in the hotel to help people she told me that she had the right to take a break I agreed with her but also felt like there should be someone in the hotel that was in charge no one else was there except for her she ended up giving us breakfast vouchers to go to breakfast the next morning only to find out the breakfast was included in our hotel stay and we did not need the vouchers we tried to go to the restaurant in the hotel the previous night at 8:00 p.m. there was a clear sign posted that they were open until 11:00 when we walked in at 8:00 the woman was very surprised saying she thought that t

The hotel lists parking for vehicles with a trailer, but the parking was not in a lot, but along the road. This made access to the hotel difficult. The hotel also listed a pool, but after driving 14 hours we found that the pool, which was supposed to be open until 10:00, was closed at 8:00 p.m.

Rooms were clean, well stocked, smelled good, and updated. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is close to the airport so you will hear planes if you’re a light sleeper. That didn’t bother me much tho. This hotel was immaculate! The breakfast buffet was nice too! Plenty of options! Fresh to boot! And the waitress was helpful and welcoming too. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Would definitely recommend! Can’t comment on the pool because we didn’t use it, sorry.
