I had a great stay at this hotel, despite some of the negative reviews I had seen. The location is fantastic—several subway lines are just a short walk away, making it easy to get around no matter where you’re headed in the city.
The room was smaller compared to other Holiday Inns I’ve stayed at, but for three people, it was sufficient. After all, it’s Manhattan! The complimentary breakfast was decent, though the dining area was a bit cramped. However, it wasn’t a major issue.
One pleasant surprise was that our room had a microwave and a small fridge, even though I was told over the phone that they wouldn’t be available.
A minor downside was the extremely narrow hallways. If you have multiple pieces of luggage, maneuvering the luggage cart in and out of the elevator requires some careful angling and spatial awareness.
The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay—much more than I expected based on some of the reviews.
