I read the reviews prior to our arrival. I was expecting the worse but was pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind that this is an old hotel that has had some renovations. Perfection by no means, but the staff was welcoming, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. It rained during our stay so we didn't get to go out much, but we did get rest. It was very affordable. I would stay again.
We have stayed at the resort where this cross was outside our door.

Blessed my son with his first Mustang at the Ponies in the Smokies and at check in the manager of 18 years said to get that piece of sh!t off my patio. Mind it you he laughed and we didn’t cause I bought it new and it was 10 years old

The room was very clean and nice. Our soap dispenser was leaking but not a huge deal. The indoor pool was nice. The water of the hot tub had a little bit of a funky color. The breakfast variety was pretty good. Several things were within walking distance of the hotel and a close drive to a variety of other things. The balcony view was excellent.

The room was clean. The balcony was nice. Staff was all very nice and accommodating. Location was good, right next to Kroger and up the street from main strip. We were able to walk to several places. Breakfast was a little disappointing. There were muffins, bagels, cereal, waffles, yogurt, frozen eggs, frozen biscuits, and frozen French toast sticks (all to warm in microwave). Not the best continental breakfast but it was something. Indoor pool was heated which is nice, but very cloudy. outdoor pool wasn’t open yet even though when I booked through hotels.com it said open March 20th. It was 82 degrees a couple days of stay and I would have liked to use. Overall, good choice for the price.

The place was about what you'd expect for 70 dollars a night. Nothing great nothing terrible just a place to sleep and shower. Don't use the pool way to hot for an indoor pool.

The room was spotless and clean, the bed was comfortable but the pillows were rather limp. The TV had a large variety of channels to choose from and a Closed Caption option. We had a two queen sized bed room with a balcony and view of the Smokies. We rarely heard our neighbors except when walking down the hall, so the sound proofing was good. What wasn't good was the bathroom, which was the size of a California King Size Bed - which included the toilet AND shower. The shower was just that - without a tub, which made it easy to get in and out of. With that exception, it was an exceptional stay and we will return again in the future.
