The location is great, so much within walking distance inclusive of public transport / free tempozan ferry to be able to explore further abroad.
The room was nothing special - bed not so comfy, but it’s a bed nonetheless.
I did think it was a bit of a stitch up / cheeky of the property to charge in person taxes on check in after booking on wotif and already paying taxes on the booking but reading back on the property description it does stipulate they ‘may’ charge in person tax - so yes, they will however I haven’t had other hotels do this beyond what was paid online!
Not sure where that on site restaurant is? I sure didn’t see or smell one there.
It is very close to the Osaka-koh station and very convenient to commute to the EXPO. Very friendly staffs especially Korean- speaking lady who is very kind and warm to greet you which makes your stay comfortable and feel at home in some degrees. She kindly guided me to take a bus instead of trains to go to Osaka station with heavy luggage because the bus stop is located nearby the hotel and we do not need to do up-and-downs with suitcases. Small but clean room. No microwaves in a hotel room but there is one at the lobby. Small kitchen in the room. Walking distance to convenience stores and coin laundry. I stayed there for 11 nights with no problem.
There was a used wet towel left in the bathroom when we checked in. The bed was cleanly made but the sheets smelled. It was better if there were sleep wears prepared like they do in typical Japanese hotels. The hotel staff were nice and friendly.
