Shared place people coming and going cost extra for having people stay over and extra for pets, uncomfortable sleeping when there are others there and for the price it’s not really worth it.

In this older inner-city house, some rooms are stated with "private bathroom" but even guests in the "Exclusive Room" had to go upstairs to shower in the second floor shared bathroom. Parking off of the rear alley in the backyard is awkward. No one is on site to assist with issues like keys or when the toilet plugged on the morning I left.

This is not a hotel. I misread the booking site. This is more like a hostel. Shared bathroom, communal bar soap. Filled/clogged 'tub-shroom'. The bed was not made, when I entered the room. The pillow was stained. There was someone's hair on the fitted sheet. There were homeless digging through the dumpster beside the parking area.

This is a hostel which I was unaware of, however! It was amazing stay had no problems whatsoever but if you don’t know the area it’s scary, had multiple locals say it’s an unsafe area as there’s a lot of crime that happens. The “staff” (owners) were very sweet and helped me with any questions but if I was notified it was a hostel, never would’ve stayed haha! Either way if you don’t care about surroundings and or a crime filled area it’s a sweet stay, they have a working shower, last day there the power in the bathroom stopped working but that’s fine, window brings in enough light lol. Didn’t use the kitchen at all as Im not the kind of person to stay at a hostel, so I wasn’t comfortable enough to just go and hang with random people around as I am a shy person, stayed in my room for the night, left early in the mornings to work and then that was that. Again, sweet place to stay, rooms are clean, me and my partner had no troubles! Just make sure to keep doors locked and you’re good as far as I’m aware :)

Service was amazing. The room was a bit cold even with the space heater that was provided. The bed was a little uncomfortable but aside from that, it was great for an overnight stay. The location is very nice.

I had a change in travel plans and the host would not communicate with me at all. I was unable to stay more than one night (booked over a week) and they didn’t not even message me back to discuss options. The unit is not a private unit you share a kitchen and bathroom with other long term tenants. It’s also NOT a hotel, it’s an old house.

The property clearly states each room will have their own bathroom with shower or tub. This is NOT the case. It says air conditioning… there was a fan in the bedroom, at plus 30 the room was sweltering. Spoke to host the night on the arrival night, and again on the next day because of the issues. He said that he has had a guest house license for 10 years and no one has ever complained. I explained that he stated on the advertisement that there would be a private bathroom with a shower or tub for each room. There was only one bathroom to be shared between strangers. he once again said no one has ever complained before, making it sound like my problem. I sent my daughter to this location, believing that she would have a private bathroom. There was only one shared bathroom. She is an inexperienced traveler, so I was the one communicating with the host. I booked her an another suite somewhere safe immediately, and she spent the next four days in the other location without any issues. The host stated he would call Expedia because the room was empty and to discuss the issues. He did not. He will not answer their calls. They have tried multiple times now.
