It was difficult to manage the stairs with luggage. Two times while we were on the stairs the lights went out, Fortunately, we had our phone flashlights otherwise it would have been very treacherous. Also, we could have used a kitchen towel or two. Everything else was very comfortable

Great location, average room

Pros -fair price -awesome location, right near the bridge and the Santo Spirito square which is the best food -air conditioning was great -the woman who greeted us was very friendly Cons -The shower is too small to wash yourself in, which makes no sense because the bathroom is a decent size. Truly, I had to open the shower door to bend over to grab the soap -the washer/dryer is a tiny all-in-one and they didn't provide laundry detergent. -69 stairs with luggage is tough -the doorway to the room is about 5'11" tall and has a sharp ledge that I kept banging my head into -bedroom mattress has a huge divot so we slept on the pull out couch

Very tired

Being in the historic city of Florence you can’t expect loads of modern facilities, however this room does need some work. The bed/mattress is very uncomfortable and needs replacing. Kitchen is very dated. Bad drain/damp smell throughout the communal areas. Stairs are lethal with luggage and the property is the top floor. Shower is very small and needs a thorough clean/replacing.
