Overall great

Overall our quick stay was great. Staff while checking in was very friendly and accommodating. We left very early in the morning and when coming down in the elevator, it got stuck. The door would open a small amount and then shut. We shouted for help with none given by other guests or staff member at the counter. We finally got the door to open and when we told the staff member checking us out, he seemed unbothered.

The location near the airport is great, as we just needed a place to sleep before heading out to our destination. What I didn't like was our check in. I asked the front desk person if they offered any 'hotel' water, and he said they only sold bottled water. When I asked him if they had any water fountain type of thing, he proceeded to go on and on about how you can't drink any of the water in Florida since it's filled with toxic metals. I told him I've been to Florida many times and this wasn't true. But he continued to go on and on about how I needed to buy his bottled water if I was thirsty. The next morning for breakfast, we found the water fountain in which the water tasted fine. companies need to learn that by trying to nickel and dime their customers, they will eventually lose their customers.

Front desk disaster

Our room was clean. The girl running breakfast was very nice and cleaned everything thoroughly. The shuttle from the airport was late and overloaded. The front desk staff was incompetent and rude! Marlen was who we dealt with and she acted as if she was clueless, said we were on the list to take the shuttle to Port Canaveral but in the morning said we were not on the list. She said to go outside and just wait for it. After waiting and hearing others waiting with the same story as well as saying the shuttle was full we were forced to pay for an Uber to make sure we got on our cruise on time. We also had to get an Uber to return once our cruise was over. Marlen said we had to wait for our room so we had to wait in the lobby for 4 1/2 hours until our room was ready. When we asked for the shuttle to the airport in the morning she said I’ll put you on the schedule but “I don’t know”, ask the person at the desk tonight. As a front desk operator she had an attitude and made us feel very anxious and uncomfortable. She was very unprofessional and seemed to hate her job.

No refunds for special circumstances

Our flight was canceled and we did not stay at the hotel. They refused to give me a refund even with the extenuating circumstances, and we paid for a whole night that we didn’t use. I was so frustrated. It would t have hurt them one bit to refund our money given the situation.

Nice overnight stay

Wonderful bilingual staff, switched our room to allow us to have working outlets at the bedside. Older property had non-working outlets and usb outlets in two different rooms. Busy budget hotel, many guests here for the cruise lines. The staff kept up with the extremely busy breakfast to keep food and coffee full. Very conscientious kitchen staff. More tables and seating options are needed, maybe extending the area into the lobby.

Wonderful

Wonderful stay! There was a mixup about the airport shuttle however this was only because a 3rd party website said it ran 24/7. This hotel has it clearly stated it runs only 7am-1am. Would stay here again.
