Parking gratuit appréciable

Hôtel dans un quartier calme mais avec le confort en chambre (double - deux lits single) au strict minimum et une salle de bain avec des fuites d'eau. Parking gratuit très appréciable, à 15 minutes à pied du métro direct pour le centre de Londres. Pratique pour se rendre au stade de l'Emirates à moins de 30 minutes à pied.

Stayed here for one Tuesday night as a solo traveler for an Arsenal champions league game. Friendly host and location itself seems good. The hotel itself is a bit run down and could do with touching up here and there, my single room was very small on the top floor, the bathroom door only opened half way due to the sloped ceiling catching the top of it which wasn't ideal. Would be a good idea to put a kettle and some hot drink facilities in there for a little more comfort. Breakfast in the morning was good and again, the host was pleasant and chatty which is always nice. 20 minutes walk to The Emirates Stadium which was nice on the way back as the streets were buzzing and lively. Overall for the cost it was alright and served a purpose just as a bed for the night after the football.

Great Little Spot for an Arsenal Match Stay

This was my second time staying at Charlie Hotel in London, and it won’t be my last. I was in town for an Arsenal match and just needed somewhere simple to rest and freshen up — this place does the job perfectly. The accommodation is basic, but it’s clean and has everything you need if you’re not fussed about frills. One of the standout perks is the free parking in the courtyard, which is a real bonus in London. Breakfast is included too, which is always appreciated. The host is very helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Best of all, it’s just a 15-minute walk to the Emirates Stadium — ideal for match days. I’m already planning to book again for my next trip to see Arsenal play. A great little gem if you just need a no-fuss stay in a handy location.

The breakfast was ok considering the circumstances, but the place was a bit run down. If you just need a place to sleep in it was ok anyway. Nothing I would recommend though.

Great value hotel

Lovely quiet area. Off-road parking. Friendly staff. Quick service at breakfast. Room could do with modernisation but it had everything I needed. All in all, a great value hotel with lovely staff. Stayed there 3 times and I’ll certainly go back when I’m next in London.

Didn’t expect much but it’s ran down. Broken furniture, beds not comfortable, carpets thread bare, bathroom wasn’t nice. It was cold, constant banging of doors and stomping up and down stairs

You get what you pay for

I think it could have a revamp, i got it for £50 (apparently 40% off) with a 10% nhs discount (i paid £45) If one room really is around £80-90 at normal price i would be disappointed but im alright with how everything went. There was a small hair in the bed, the toilet did have bleach when i came but smelt like old wee, you can use the toilet in the small room with no leg space or any space. I didnt use the shower. The carpet was really frayed, the hangers were random and old and broken, basically nothing modern and it needs an up do. Especially if you pay full price no discount. I really enjoyed how comfy the bed was and how clean the sheets were. And i really enjoy the breakfast aspect although again didnt use because im fasting. I also enjoyed the free wifi access, lovely staff too. Keep them. Would i come here again? Probably not but they should use profits and revamp the place so people feel its money well spent. Maybe the bigger rooms are better, i was in room 7 Also i dont think you can turn on the heating, apparently its run ever hour or every other hour basically on their timing, It was very cold in the room. Lighting also quite dark and a little depressing, couldve done with a lamp or so

To chilly to sleep.

Charlie Hotel is a bed and breakfast. The building needs some TLC, but everything is as advertised. There is a small parking area for customers. The owner was lovely and was very friendly. We found ourselves in a downstairs room, that was adequate, but lacked any heat. The radiator was on, but didn't provide any warmth. After a night out in London, we returned to the ice box, and struggled to stay warm. Breakfast was welcoming and again the owner was accommodating.
