Please do not book here. We got in a little later than the check in time coming from out of town. Our bathroom was covered in black mildew/mold all around the walls. There was not any hot water in the bathroom or the kitchen area. The AC unit has dirt/trash all inside the vent. We had younger children with us so of course they were tired from their day already and the drive. We slept all in one bed to make sure they were a bit comfortable. When we woke the next morning we spent the day at the beach and getting back into the room to rinse off there was a baby roach in the bathroom so of course being a baby one that only meant there were more around. We had to check out early and just drove home when we were expecting to stay for the entire weekend. Photos attached show the filthy fridge, bugs on the main bed and the black mildew/mold all around the bathroom.

Needs to be cleaned up

There was mold all around the top of the fridge, the mattress was nasty, found a bag of moldy food under the couch, no ice machine, elevator didn’t work. Pool wasn’t clean at all, hot tub didn’t work. No coffee pot but gave you cups for coffee microwave had rust all over it. Door locks had rust all over them. Ac was dripping water into the floor

PLEASE LOOK AT MY PICS BEFORE BOOKING HERE!!!!

Let Me Start By the Staff was Great but that was all that was good about this Hotel. If It wouldn't have been a Holiday Weekend We would have left!! The Property Is in Terrible Shape. You can Look at the Pictures and see for Yourself. Last day there was No Hot water to Take a Shower. They do NOT Clean the room During the stay much less before You check in. Hotels.com Should drop this Hotel from there Listing. We stayed from 5/23/25 till 5/26/25. MOLD ON CEILING, BUCKET UNDER AC TO CATCH THE WATER FROM AC, MISSING GLOBES AND LIGHT BULBS, LAMP COVERS OLD AND CRACKED, VENT A HOOD HAS NEVER BEEN CLEANED, BUNK BED BROKEN ( GOT A SPLINTER FROM IT) PARTS OF TOWLE BAR MISSING AND PARTIALLY PATCHED, KILLED 3 ROACHES, The only Reason I give them 1 Star is because Eric at the front Desk was Wonderful.

Pictures are deceiving! It was gross. The bathroom had hair all over it, d*ck pics on the mirror. They give you tp and towels in a trash bag left on your door. Pool was full of algae! Pier was okay.

If you want a place to sleep and shower this is it plus they have their own pier for fishing. But other than that they don't provide pots/pans,plates,glasses and silverware for the rooms

The first room was infested with ants. Hair in the bed. The second room still had ants but they weren’t in our bed. The second room had roaches. Nowhere to put the soap in the shower. Nicest coffee bar I ever saw. Great bed. Too noisy and disappointed I couldn’t see the water-which is what I paid for. No bathtub-which is also what I asked for. There was an upcharge for using our card which is not listed on Expedia. They tried to charge me $41 a night when my reservation said $34 a night.

We woke up in the middle of the night covered in bugs. Bug bites all over our bodies. Ants all over! I can take a roach or two, but my whole body is covered in big big bites.. they don't look like ant bites. The are big and hard and weeping puss. We were supposed to stay all day today but left because our whole bodies itch and hurt. This was ridiculous. I will probably never come to this place again. We have been here several times before, but it has never been this bad. I'm thinking this will be the last visit. We had only a side lamp and oven lamp as lights. I can't believe how disgusting it was.

Roaches, ants, crickets. Banging from ongoing construction in next room. Pool not available. Shower would not drain. TV kept going offline. Staff was pleasant and friendly and got shower drain fixed and tv fixed. Nice lighted fishing pier.

I’ve been going to Hunts castle for over 30yrs. Everything about the hotel is getting worse by the year. No phone or nightstand in the room. No remote for the tv. There was no soap in shower. I will not be staying there anymore which is disappointing.
