Overall, we had good stay. All the staff we encountered from reception to the cleaner were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast too was very good quality. The only improvement I'd make is to offer coffee choices, as the standard filter type doesn't do it for me.

We had a great stay at the bell. It was perfect for what we needed, one night to explore Tewkesbury. We had a look around the town and then done a little pub crawl form the top at the black bear all they way down to the Indian restaurant called the Balti Palace (the food was great and the staff were excellent). The beds were extra comfy, we slept well and parking was easy just in the hotel/pub car park and they give you a card to put in your car so you dont have to pay.

The Bell is a very old building, with bags of character. The bar and dining areas are beautiful and reflect the history of the building. Bedrooms are basic and in need of refurbishment, but fine for a couple of days. The meals were excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. Location wise it is perfect. Across the road from the abbey and steps from the river and gardens. Parking is free but you need to display a permit from reception. For a short, economical break in a historic town it would be hard to beat.

The only thing I could have done with was a porthole to charge my phone ,I've had this with other hotels so carry a plug now ;this is the only thing that was needed but other then that lovely place to stay

The weather was incredibly hot and such a historical building has no air con but there was a fan in the room which we left on overnight which definitelyhelped. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the food was good, the room was spotless and the parking was free. We had a great couple of days and will stay here again.

Good place to stay, when visiting Tewkesbury and the surrounding area. Very near the Abbey and town centre. Good free parking. Good range of drinks. Staff are all very helpful and attentive. Breakfasts very good. Freshly cooked for you.

Fabulous location within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Very helpful polite and friendly staff at reception, in the bar and restaurant, and at breakfast. We stayed in the old building rather than the annex and, as is often the case with old buildings, there were some quirks but nothing that was a problem. We would happily stay there again if in the area.

Vid vår ankomst fanns ingen i receptionen, så någon tillkallades. En flicka som var föga intresserad av oss, rabblade det hon var tvungen att informera oss om, på ett otroligt nonchalant vis, men vi fick vår nyckel. Blev placerade i annexet som det kallades, ruggigt och otroligt slitet, men ok sängar, och en natt stod man ut. Miljön och närhet till byn var kanon. Härlig bar, OCH EN FANTASTISK FRUKOST, och kvinnan som serverade frukosten var så härlig.10/10.
